You shivered as you tried to seek some warmth by hugging yourself. The cold wind was passing by. You didn't even question on how wind and snow made it in the underground. You saw your footprints on the ground but they quickly fade away because of the harsh snow. You were sure to get a cold, even worse, hyperthermia(?) by this point! You made it to a bridge that had some sort of barricade...? You weren't too sure... You can barely see anything due to the storm. You heard footsteps behind you. You were scared. Who could they be? You decided to run, seeing it as a wise decision, you did. But the bridge decided to give up on you and it fell. You screamed as you fell through the never ending void. Then you.... Stopped...? You looked up and saw a skeleton. He was holding his hand out with a blue aura around it. His left eye glowed the same color as he sweated bullets. You slowly went up to his side. You breathed heavily. That was a scary experience. The skeleton chuckled nervously, sweating bullets. He then calmed down. "Geez kid. It's not really polite to worry a new pal for a first impression." You appreciated that he tried to lighten up the mood. Now that your here, you can look at him clearly. He was wearing a blue jacket with a white turtleneck, black basketball shorts with white lines and.... Pink.... Slippers? His eyesockets had white little lights in instead of the blue flame and the empty one earlier. "Anyways..." Hearing his voice snapped you out of your trance. "The name's sans, sans the skeleton." He held out his hand. You shook hands with him and heard a fart noise. What...? He laughed. "Heh heh... Whoopie cushion in the hand trick. Classic trick in the book." You smiled. "My name's (y/n) by the way." You said. He nodded. You looked at the bridge. "Soooo.... How are we going to get to the other side?" He smiled and held out his hand, again. "Don't worry, I know a shortcut." You raised a brow at this but took his hand. You felt dizzy for a moment before you landed on the ground. Wait... Were you even floating? You were still a bit nauseous and almost fell but sans caught you. "Geez kid, I know that I'm a-PEELING but you just can't stop falling for me." He winked at you. You looked at him for a few minutes before getting the joke and laughed. "Your quite the HUMERUS one aren't ya?" He laughed. "Good one kid." Suddenly, you heard footsteps. "SANS! I HEARD THOSE PUNS! WHO ARE YOU EVEN TALKING TO?!" you looked behind sans and saw another skeleton. Oh cheese balls.... He's gigantic... You were shivering of both the cold and fear. You went behind sans and hid behind him. "Woah, kid. Don't worry. He's not harmf-" "SANS! WHO IS THAT BEHIND YOU? THE GREAT PAPYRUS DEMANDS TO KNOW!" You tried to not get seen but sans pushed you forwards. He gave you a reassuring look. "Kid, come on! Introduce yourself. He's harmless, I swear." You looked up and looked at.... Papyrus was it? straight in the eyes.... Uh.... Eyesockets....? He looked down at you and smiled. That makes him look less intimidating. "WHY HELLO THERE SANS'S FRIEND! WHAT KIND OF MONSTER ARE YOU? OR MAYBE...." he gasped. "ARE YOU A HUMAN?" You looked down at your hands nervously. What were you supposed to say? You looked at sans for an answer. He nodded as if saying that you should tell papyrus that your a human. You looked back at papyrus and saw that his eyesockets somehow had a sparkle in it. Gosh, he might look intimidating at first but he's actually just a innocent skeleton. "U-uhhh.... Yes... Yeah! I'm a human!" You smiled at him. He gasped. "SANS! WE NEED TO PREPARE THE PUZZLES! IMMEDIATELY!" papyrus ran back to where he came from, saying 'nyeh heh heh'. You smiled but then you felt the cold again. You forgot that there was still a storm happening. You breathed in your hands, the tips of the fingers are already turning blue. Suddenly, something warm was placed on your back. You looked behind you and saw sans with only a white turtleneck. You then noticed that he gave you his jacket. "Heh. You looked cold kiddo. Might as well give you my jacket." You looked at him and tried to take the jacket off. "B-but... You'll get cold!" You protested. He shook his head. "Nah. The cold just goes right through me." He winked. You smiled and put the jacket on properly. "Thanks. I'll give it back to you later." He smiled. "You should get going. Don't want to make paps wait. I'll be there." He said and went the other direction. You were about to say something but then he just disappeared. Weird.... You then trudged on forward.
