Your pov
You took a deep breath and tightened your goggles on your eyes. You heard the cheers of both humans and monsters as you looked at your opponent. This was your 17th match in this batch and you were close to the championships! You have also done this for almost half of your life and always won! That's why you were famous. Snapping out of your thoughts, you positioned yourself and waited. The gun shot was heard as you hopped into the water, swimming as fast as you can. You felt the water on your face as you swam. You closed your eyes and you felt like you were flying. Your one of the humans that was born without wings and you got teased because of it but you ignored it. If they can glide in the air, you can glide in the water! You pushed yourself back as you reached the end of the pool. Last lap! Your almost there. You did some moves in the water, making the crowd go crazy. When you are in water, you always imagined yourself flying. That's why you decided to swim in the first place. To experience flying but in a different way. You reached the end of the lap and pulled yourself up. The crowd cheered as you raised your arms in victory, still quite wet. Well, that would make sense, would it? You blocked off the words of the announcer and looked at the crowd. When you looked at one side, you saw a group of monsters with a human child. One, a tall skeleton with orange wings specifically, cheered as he held a banner with your name on it. You chuckled and shook your head. You winked at him and he seems to notice it. He blushed as a fish lady seems to tease him about it. You huffed and smiled as went to the changing room. A towel got thrown at your face but you caught it. "Aww! I never seem to catch you off guard!" You stuck your tounge out playfully as you saw (f/n) pouting at you. "It's because I'm always aware, unlike you." "Hey!" You chuckled and wiped yourself with the towel. "I never speak lies, do I?" They huffed. "I'm going." They said, going out the door. "Wait for me there, won't ya?" You shouted and changed your clothes.
You slung your sling bag over your shoulder and went out of the swimming arena. You squinted your eyes as you looked up at the flying monsters and humans above. You sighed. You always wondered what it feels like to fly. You then proceeded to walk to (f/n)'s car but you saw that they left you. You shook your head. "I was only kidding..." They seem to always get annoyed easily when you tease them and they sometimes leave you for that. Well, guess your walking. Before you can take a step, you heard someone. "HEY! THERE SHE IS!" You looked at the direction you heard it and saw the group of monsters, and a human, from earlier. Now that you can see them more clearly, they seem to be quite the interesting group. There are two goats, which you recognize as the retired royal family, a fish lady, a yellow lizard, two skeletons with white the huge height difference and the ambassador of monsters. The skeleton seems to be blushing from earlier. You smiled and walked over to them. You liked meeting fans except if they are...... A bit too..... Obsessive.... Ehem! Anyways! You stood in front of them as the tall skeleton smiled at you. "WHY HELLO THERE (Y/N)! ITS SUCH A. PLEASURE TO MEET YOU IN PERSON! I AM YOUR BIGGEST FAN!!!" He squealed. You looked at him and at his orange wings. They are quite attractive to be honest. "Hey there. Since you already know my name, it's fair if I know yours right?" He beamed up at you, excited. He then noticed and coughed, trying to keep a straight and professional face. "WELL, I AM THE GREAT PAPYRUS AND THIS IS MY BROTHER SANS!" he pointed to the smaller skeleton. He waved. He had large Raven wings, that's for sure. "HERE IS UNDYNE AND ALPHYS!" he went closer to you and 'whispered' even though your pretty sure that the sound of it sounds like normal volume talking. "They are a couple." You widened your eyes. You didn't expect that! The two blushed. He went back. "THIS IS TORIEL,ASGORE AND FRISK!" he gestured to the royal family. You bowed at them. The king let out a heart chuckle. "No need for formality! Just treat us normally." You blushed with embarassement and nodded. Frisk smiled and tugged your hand. You looked at them questioningly. They pointed to the sky. "Frisk!" Toriel scolded. You smiled. "It's fine but what are they trying to say?" Toriel smiled at you. "They want to fly with you." You sweated. "Ahh.... I'm afraid to say that I don't have wings..." You chuckled nervously. Frisk looked shocked and looked at you sadly. The group seems shocked. Didn't they notice before? "OH... IM SORRY TO HEAR THAT (Y/N)!" "It's alright, I'm used to it." You waved him off. You looked at your wristwatch. It was getting quite late... "As much as I love talking to you guys, I have to go now. Nice meeting you!" You said and smiled, waving before walking to the sidewalk. "WAIT!" you turned around when you heard papyrus shout. He blushed a little when you both made eye contact. "UMM... DO YOU WANT A LIFT FROM THE GREAT PAPYRUS?" "O-oh.... No thanks. I don't want to be a burden..." You said. You didn't want to waste their time. They might have places to go to. Before you can walk away, you felt a big, gloved hand on yours. "I INSIST!" You looked back and saw that he, somehow, had puppy dog eyes. You held back your urge to 'aww'. He was so adorable. You sighed and smiled. "Alright. I can't resist those eyes you know..." He smiled but before a single movement can be made... "hey bro, is it alright if I come with you?" You heard slight suspicion and protectiveness in sans's voice. You won't lie, you find their brotherly-love adorable. "WHY OF COURSE!" You felt his hands under your arms to hold onto you and started levitating slowly. "Well, we'll be heading back home punks! See ya!" Undyne flew off after saying her signature laugh. You noticed that she was holding alphys. How adorable. The others also went off. Now it was just the three of you. "ARE YOU READY (Y/N)?" You nodded, bracing yourself. You all flew off.
