The storm had come and gone and I was now staying with Malone's family while my house was being rebuilt. During the storm a very large oak tree had fallen on the house, caving in the roof. Malone and I were walking to the barn yard to feed the goats. Malone had received my seven original goats when I left for England. "43!!!" I exclaimed. "How did seven turn into 43!" "Well if you had stuck around you would have found that the goat industry is a very big business and so for that you need a lot of goats." Was his response. "You never cease to amaze me." We had gotten to the barn yard and it was covered by goats most playing in the yard a few others playing in the branches of low hanging trees. I couldn't help but laugh at the cuteness. "Watch goats are just like dogs." I gave him a confused look he just smiled. "HEY GOATS OVER HERE!" The goats looked up and all ran over to us. They were jumping over each other try to get to the bags of grain that we were holding. We walked in to the barn the goats following behind us. We came to the feeding station where we lined the troughs with grain and hay. We then walked back to the house stoping to feed the horses. We grabbed our bags and and home work and got into Malone's truck. Normally we would have taken the bus but Malone wanted to impress some new girl. Malone pretty much trusted me with everything which is something that not a lot of people do. "So you going to ask her out?" I teased. "How, I don't even know her name!" He shot back. "Okay then." I smirked. "Please don't even think about trying to be my wing woman either...remember what happened last time?" He was looking at the two scars on my arm. I quickly rolled down my sleeve. "Alright then I'll leave you be." Yeah I had no intention of doing that if I could only find out who the girl was though. We had pulled up to the high school I was still new here it was only my third day so I was still learning my way around the school. "Got your schedule?" "Yes" "Your lunch money?" "Yes" "Do you have your bag?" "Yes" "How about your homework?" "Yeesh DAD chill out I got it all." I shot a look at him he just smiled. "I still have the best car here." He admired his truck and continued to rant on about its glory. Right as he was talking about the tailgate another car pulled up right by us. It was a Toyota FRS driven by no other than Jullian Diaz. London was in the passenger seat. "Yo peeps it's ya boi chips ahoy!" "Jullian really your still doing that?" I shook my head it was a childish thing that he use to do when we were kids but it was still entertaining. "Never gets old." London said. As we stood there talking about school and teachers another car pulled up a purple Jeep Cherokee. Kylie was driving and Matt looked like he had suffered a heart attack he was as white as a ghost. "Matt you alive? Kylie check his pulse." I joked. We all laughed Kylie rolled her eyes. "Come on how bad of a driver could I possibly be?" "Very possibly." Matt managed to say. We laughed a bit more this was very entertaining to watch. We all grabbed our bags and went inside.

A few hours later I was the last one in the locker room after gym getting changed when I heard taunting and laughing coming from the hall. I threw on my white T-Shirt and went to check it out. There in the floor was a tall girl with long brown hair sat on the floor up against the wall with a busted lip and three girls standing over her. One girl who stood to the left was in a cheerleading outfit and had long black hair with dark skin. The girl to the right had a pixie cut and wore circular glasses with leggings and a black tee. The third girl who stood in the middle and who who was quite clearly the leader was fat and also had a pixie cut that was dyed pink. She wore a colorful tank top and tight jeans. "Aw is someone going to cry?" Smirked the girl in the center. "Why don't you run home to where you came from." Snarked the girl on the right. "Look at you trying to be a cheerleader, sorry kid that spot is for people with talent." Sniped the girl on the left. I had saw enough. "Hey leave her alone what did she ever do to you?" I yelled. While the three of them were preoccupied looking at me, the girl took advantage of the situation to punch the girl in the center. She than ran as fast as she could to get away. While the other two were busy with their friend I ran away to the cafeteria.

I was a total mess by the time I reached the cafeteria and everyone could tell. "Eliza what on earth happened to you?" Matt asked. Before I could respond, Malone went red and somebody tapped my shoulder. I turned around to meet the girl who was being picked on earlier. "Hey I'm sorry I never got the chance to say thank you by the way for what you did back there. Not very many people are willing to stand up for the new girl." "It really was nothing it's just nobody deserves to be picked on then cornered." I smiled back. "Anabelle by the way." She said. "Elizabeth or Eliza." She turned to walk away. I sat down at the table and looked at Malone who was looking down and red as tomato, we all seemed to notice. Cause we broke down laughing like fools including Malone. But all the fun ended when someone's lunch spilt all over me. "Oops I didn't see you there." It was the fat girl from earlier she giggled and walked away. I got up and ran towards the bathroom everyone looking at me there I threw off my hoodie and started brushing myself off. London and Kylie came in after me while the boys waited outside. "I know this is a terrible thing to be thinking but we have got to get back at those girls!"
