"Come on, Umi!" Sasuke yelled and we ran out the door, about to be late again. No breakfast for me again... I thought unpleasantly.
As I passed Aunt Uruchi's bakery I was surprised to find her talking with one of Fugaku's police officers. I didn't have time to greet her so I ran past and wondered what the man wanted with Aunt Uruchi.
"Are you going to train after school today?" Sasuke asked as we sped through the village and I shook my head.
"No, I want to go home today, I didn't... sleep well yesterday," I said and saw Sasuke lower his eyes to the ground.
"You should go home too, you can train in the backyard, no one will be home," I said but Sasuke gave me a humph and sped up. I sighed and followed him until we reached the academy.
This is going to be a long day again... I thought as I stepped through the door into the classroom full of kids.
*Time Skip to Break*
"Umi-chan~ Do you want to play hide and seek with us?" The boys in the class asked me and I looked at Sakura who was standing behind me.
"Sure." She said and I nodded to the boys. They high-fived each other while celebrating I laughed.
"You're really popular among the boys you know..." Sakura whispered to me and I smiled.
"Maybe I'll even find a boyfriend, you know. Maybe... Sasuke?" I joked and saw Sakura's face whiten.
"Come on, you know I dislike that stupid duck butt," I laughed and said while Sakura started to blush vigorously.
"Let's start the game!" The boy shouted and I started running away from the boys, Sakura still following me.
*Time Skip to after school*
"Bye, Sakura-chan~" I said and ruffled her hair. She blushed again and mumbled something before running off. I laughed and looked at her disappearing silhouette. She changed a lot too...
"Hey," Sasuke said I jerked around.
"What are you doing, we're still in school! Remember my rules. Don't talk to me in school." I spat at him, gave him a kick before walking off.
"Look around you, stupid!" He caught up to me and slapped me on the back. I held my irritation and looked around. No one was here. I sighed and turned to Sasuke.
"So, what do you want?" I asked and crossed my arms.
"Go train with me." He said and I smirked.
"What makes you think I'd train with you," I said and he flinched back.
"Please...?" He implored and I laughed.
"No," I said and he gave me a dark look.
"I won't bother you on the weekends."
"No."
"I won't steal any of your stuff."
"No."
"I'll let you spend time with niisan?"
"No."
"Umm... We'll eat breakfast no matter how late we'll be?"
"No."
"I'll make the breakfast?"
"Hm..."
"I'll buy you mochi!"
"With the breakfast?"
"Mhm."
"Deal."
I said and shook hands with Sasuke, smirking.
