I stared up at the ceiling of my room and rubbed my throat. It felt like as though if I haven't talked or drunk for weeks.
"Umi-chan." A soft voice called from my door and I sat up on my bed to see Mikoto smiling at me.
"It's time to get up." She said with her usual sweet voice and softly close the door, giving me privacy.
I yawned and dressed for another plain boring day of life. I walked out of my room and made myself breakfast, not caring about Sasuke (he can make whatever he wants idc). Just as I was about to leave for the Academy, Sasuke walked out with his usual annoying jerky face.
"Umi, wait for..." He started but I walked out of the room without turning back. Annoying Sasuke with his fangirl group... I thought and humphed.
I walked through the Uchiha compound, waved to several of its inhabitants and yawned as I walked towards the academy. When I arrived in the hallway, only Naruto, Shikamaru, and Choji were there. They were talking and Naruto seemed happier than usual. I wondered if Shikamaru and Choji were friends with Naruto as I approached them.

"Hi, Umi-chan~" Naruto called and tried to slap me on the back. I caught his hand before it touched me and he tried to struggle free.
"Come on, Naruto. You know you'll never be able to slap me like that." I smiled and said with Naruto staring at me, annoyed that he failed once again.
"Shikamaru, Choji now!" Naruto suddenly yelled and I turned to find Choji charging at me with Shikamaru walking behind him, mumbling "what a drag". I pushed Naruto aside and leaped up, hopping on Choji's shoulders before flipping and confronting Shikamaru.
"Uh..." He half moaned, half complained as I darted aside easily and kicked him forwards into Choji, who had just steadied himself and turned around.
"Not fair!" Naruto called and came at me again, I held out my hand and he blindly charged into it, slipping after hitting his head on the palm of my hands.
"Hahahhah. You guys.. Look... hilarious.." I laughed and held my stomach. The three boys were crouched on the ground writhing and burning with embarrassment.
"Did Naruto fail again?" Sakura said from behind me and embraced me from the back.
