Twenty Five

Collin's P.O.V

I was eating breakfast with Wendy. Mom was doing something upstairs as we ate. I heard the doorbell ring making me look over at Wendy.

"Are you guys expecting anyone?" I asked.

"No," Wendy said.

"I'll get it," I said. I got up and walked over to the door. I check the peep hole to make sure it wasn't a Mormon. When I looked through, I stared in shock before opening the door.

"Dad? What the hell are you doing here?" I asked in shock.

"Heard you moved to California. I was down here for a business trip and a wanted to say hi," He told me.

"Who is it Collin?" Wendy asked.

"My dad," I said. I looked back at Wendy who was just as shocked as I was.

"Is your mother home?" Dad asked me.

"Yeah."

"I'll go get her," Wendy said before leaving.

"Do you want to come inside?" I asked him.

"Sure," He walked inside. I closed the door behind him before walking over to face him.

"How are you?" He asked me.

"Better."

"Saw you are dating Bella," Dad mentioned.

"Yeah."

"Your mom and Aria always wanted you both together," He told me.

"So I've heard."

"What are you doing here, Richard?" Mom asked. I backed up a bit.

"Just wanted to say hi," Dad told her.

"Okay. You said hi to Collin. Now leave," She said.

"Erin-"

"No. Stop it. I don't want to hear this bullshit of yours," Mom said.

"Fine. I'll see you another time then," Dad told me.

"Bye Dad," I said. He walked out of the house making me walk away.

I called up Chase on my phone. I was in my room as I called him.

"Hello?"

"Chase. It's Collin."

"Hey, what's up?"

"Dad stopped by," I told him.

"What the hell did he want?"

"To say hi," I said. 

"After what he did to mom, I wouldn't want to talk to him," Chase said. 

Our dad had cheated on our mom which caused them to divorce. Chase and I immediately chose her side instead of his. Although, Chase and I were forced to spend some time with him as an agreement to their divorce. 

"Well I'm not eighteen yet so I can't have any say. Yet," I told Chase. 

"Okay. Look, just be careful when he comes over or when you visit him," Chase warned me. 

"I will."

"I'll talk to you later. I gotta study," Chase told me.

"Alright. I'll see you soon," I said. 

"Later."
