Bella's P.O.V
I leaned against my locker as I talked to Seth. He and I were talking about a class we share until I saw Collin walking over with Rosalie.
"Hey, Collin. Hey, Rosalie," I said.
"Hey," Rosalie smiled back.
"Since you two are here, are you going to Melody's party on Friday night?" Seth asked them.
"Melody's throwing a party?" Collin asked him.
"Her parents are out of town while her brother is at their cousin's for the weekend," I told him.
"I don't want to intrude," Rosalie said.
"Don't be silly. It's a free invite. Anyone can come," Seth said to her.
"Well, then I guess I'm in," Rosalie smiled.
After school, I sat in the library, trying to study for my history test coming up. I saw someone sit in front of me, making me look up.
"Oh, hey, Rosalie," I said.
"Hi. Just saw you looking stressed. Are you alright?" She asked me.
"Just trying to study for my history test," I told her.
"Do you need help?" She asked me.
"Yes please," I said. Rosalie sat next to me as she looked down at my chapter.
"Okay, have you made note cards?" Rosalie asked me.
"Yeah."
"I'll quiz you on them. If you get them wrong, then we'll know which ones you need to study on more," Rosalie said.
"Okay. Sounds easy," I told her.
After she helped me study and gave me a few pointers, I offered her a ride home. As I drove her to her house, I was debating whether or not if she liked Collin.
"Hey, I know this may sound out of the blue but... do you like Collin?" I asked her.
"As a friend," Rosalie told me.
"Not in a crush way, right? I'm just asking," I said, trying not to make it awkward. Rosalie let out a giggle.
"I don't swing that way," Rosalie told me. I glanced over at her.
"You don't?" I asked.
"No. Besides, I have a girlfriend before I moved here," Rosalie said.
"Oh. What's her name?" I asked.
"Julie. I might bring her to the party Friday," Rosalie told me.
"Cool. I can't wait to meet her," I said.
"I'm sorry if you felt like I was going to steal Collin away," Rosalie said.
"I'm sorry if I sounded like a jealous, protective girlfriend. You're really pretty. I just can't wait to see the disappointment look in every guys' face now," I said.
"Me neither," Rosalie smiled.
