Soooo, I watched that one movie Solo, its pretty gud.
But as a historian, I couldn't help but think, wait, the Imperial Forces are a little bit like the Nazis (an evil group of Germans lead by Hitler, it ended in 1945)
Here's why:
They keep repeating the phase "bringing peace to the galaxy"
The Nazis believed that they were bringing peace to Europe.

is a Buddhist symbol of peace.
Ironically, the Imperial Forces and the Nazis were doing the exact opposite.
They took over planets, terrorizing the people, thus each planet resisted, forming the Resistance.
The Nazis took over countries, doing horrible things to the people, each country resisted, thus the resistance was formed.
Even the uniforms are similar
