*Emery's POV*

An hour and two bottles of tequila later, me and Valentine were still on the rooftop talking. Valentine was already drunk while I was halfway tipsy.

"I saw Lia and Aria making out in the backyard earlier." Valentine said.

Ugh, I took another gulp of the alcohol as the image of Lia and Aria making out popped into my mind.

"Don't worry Em, you don't need Lia. Your hot, you can get any girl you want." Valentine slurred. Yep, she was drunk. And drunk Valentine has no filter.

"I appreciate the confidence Val." I said, laughing at how drunk she was.

"No problem Em." Valentine said, getting up and walking towards the door back inside the house.

"Where are you going?" I asked.

"I need a nap. I'm fucking drunk as hell right now." Valentine said, stumbling back inside the house. I wasn't even alone for five minutes because I heard footsteps coming towards me. I turned around expecting to see Valentine, but it was Lia. I quickly turned my head back and took a drink of the tequila in my hand. Lia came next to me and sat down, not saying a word. I took another sip then passed the bottle over to Lia. She took a big gulp before putting the bottle down and facing me.

"What are you doing here? Aren't you supposed to be with your girlfriend?" I asked, annoyed.

"I am." She said, not taking her eyes off me.

"Really? Because I don't see Aria around." I scoffed. Why was I even jealous? Lia was never mine to begin with.

"How many time do I have to tell you princess. Aria is not my girlfriend." Lia said, in a stern voice.

"Well, the way you two were kissing earlier, I would've guessed that you were in love." I said in a bitter tone.

"Are you..." Lia said, a small smirk slowly appearing on her face. "Jealous?" She asked.

"What? Me? Jealous? Of course not!" I exclaimed.

"Oh, c'mon Emery. You were totally jealous." She said, her smirk only getting bigger. "You're really cute when your jealous."

"I am not jealous." I stated.

"Yes you were."

"No I wasn't"

"Yes you were."

"Fine, I was." I said, finally facing Lia. "Happy now?" I asked.

Lia's smirk disappeared off her face and she scooted closer to me. "You shouldn't be jealous. There is nothing going on between me and Aria." She said, looking at me straight in the eyes. "She kissed me first and I tried pushing her off, but she wouldn't move. Then I saw you and Lily disappear in the house and I tried finding you."

"So what you're saying is that you were jealous of Lily?" I asked. Now it was my turn to smirk.

"Wh--what? No, I never said that." Lia said, quickly defending herself.

"Really? Because you seem pretty upset whenever we're together." I said.

"You wish Adams. I never get jealous." Lia said, tilting her head to the side and leaning back.

Oh, is that how she wants to play it? Well game on Pierce.

"Did I ever tell you about my first kiss?" I asked, Lia slowly nodded for me to go on. "It was Lily." I said, looking down at the ground and laughing to myself.
