I came to school a little late.

"Good morning class," greeted by our adviser, Ms. Hadid.

"Good morning, Ms. Collins," we greeted back.

I still feel sleepy. I put my head on my desk and closed my eyes for a while. My classmate, Rebecca suddenly poked me.

"Hey, Ms. Collins can see you," she whispered.

"I'm sorry."

I am actually a good student. I am an honor student since I was a kid. I really want to become an accountant in the future.

Class ended and we were dissmissed. When I went home, Kate called me and told me that we are attending a party later.

Wait. Now that I remember. I think it's his brother's birthday today.

I didn't know his brother has a thing for parties.

Hours later, it was time. It's already midnight and the party has started. Many visitors were dancing around Kate's house.

"Wow, I didn't know your brother has lots of friends," I said with a serious face. A guy who wears big rimmed glasses just seems like a nerd and a loner.

"You have no idea," she replied trying not to laugh.

We both laughed loudly. I think we're drunk enough.

I spotted Kate's brother swimming with his friends at the pool. His name is Harry. Weird guy.

Looking around, I watched the crowd dancing near the pool, trying to look ahead, I thought I have seen Jake.. with his girlfriend?

They are invited? They know him?

I stared at them. They are dancing while talking to each other.

I saw Jake looked at me then flinched away when he saw me staring.

I was off guard! He's with his girlfriend. I should stop being obvious.

After the party, Kate brought me home. I felt better and kind of sobber.

I stayed outside for a little while. I wonder if he already went home?

I'm leaning in our gate looking at the Harper's. I suddenly want to see Jake's face. I suddenly saw him go outside their house.

My face lifted up.

"Hey!" I shouted.

He waved his hand at me.

Ugh. Wrong move.

He went to me as my heart was racing.

"Why are you still outside in the middle of the night?" he asked me.

"I wanted to see you," I replied. Oops. I guess I'm still drunk.

He blushed. Did I just see him blush???

"I think you're just drunk," he said hoarsely.

"How did you know?"

He lightly shook his head. "You were at the party, right?" he said smiling. He saw me!

"Yes, I was," I answered in a sleepy tone. I yawned.

"You should probably go now," he said staring at me.

"Yeah. Goodbye Jake!" I said to him.

"Goodnight, wait what's your name?" he asked curiously.

Right, I haven't introduced myself to him yet.

"My name is Alice, Alice Collins."

"Goodbye, Alice. See you next time," he said as he dissapeared.

I smiled at the thought of him while going in our house. I felt my heart beating fast.

I think I have a crush on him.. This can't be good.
