Three months left and I'll be graduating soon.. Time really flies fast.

It's holiday today. I sat in the couch and decided to watched a movie in Netflix. I picked a romantic movie, To All The Boys I've Loved Before. I heard it's good, and since I have never had a love life, maybe I can watch and learn from this.

I loved the movie.

If it's that just easy to have a hot and charming boyfriend, though. I think I should write Jake a love letter. Aha. Nope.

It's already dinner time and I'm hungry. I want to eat but there's no food and I don't know how to cook. Mom's not home. I should just call her.

"Mom, I'm hungry, there's no food here, " I called through my phone.

"We don't have any leftovers, dear, go here in your auntie Lydia's house. She'll prepare dinner for us," she answered.

"Okay, I'll be there. Bye."

"Be quick. Bye!"

I ended the call. I feel so hungry that even though I don't want to go to my auntie's house, I need to go.

I went there quickly and finally ate dinner.

"Thank you, auntie, for the delightful dinner."

"It's nothing, Alice. You can come here and eat whenever you want to," Auntie Lydia said gratefully.

"Sure, I will come back next time," I said and smiled at her.

"By the way, do you want to watch a basketball game with Maureen tomorrow? She said she doesn't have someone free to go with her."

"Okay, just tell her to text me, Auntie,"
She nodded and smiled.

Watch a basketball game? Not bad.

We don't have classes for tomorrow so I can go with Maureen, my closest cousin.

The day passed and it's already the game day. Even though I do not know anyone playing or what teams will play, I still want to watch it. Ridiculous. I know.

"Alice, walk faster! We'll be late," yelled Maureen.

"Hey, It's not like I came with you because I wanted to? Be happy that I insisted to come with you," I said arrogantly.

She rolled her eyes at me. This girl is getting through my nerves.

We went inside the court. There are many people watching and some girls cheering loudly. The players are getting ready for the game to start.

"I'm sorry to rush you, it's just that my crush is playing and I want to see him play."

"You don't wanna be late to see him?"

"Yup!"

Right.. you will still see him even if we were late.

The game started. The girls are screaming wildly. My poor ears.

"Who's your crush?" I whispered to her.

"You'll find out."

As we are watching the game, someone have caught my eyes.

I can't believe he's here. Jake is playing basketball. And he looks smoking hot in a jersey.

I can't take my eyes off him. He is so good at playing basketball. Can't he be more perfect?

There was a time out. I finally took the chance to look at him closely.

He saw me because we were near the side of the court where they have a meeting with the coach. I could tell he's staring at me.

I waved my hand at him. He smiled at me and waved back.

"You know that guy!?" Maureen yelled.

"Yes, he's my neighbor, " I explained.

"He's my crush! Omg you're so lucky to be neighbors with him!" She said with such excitement.

Oh my gosh! Does that mean we have the same crush? But goodluck to us, neither of us have a chance with him.

"He has a girlfriend, Maureen."

"Aw that's sad to hear, I didn't know," she said frowning.

I ignored her.

"I think he likes you, though." Maureen whispered.

"No. That will never happen," I said judgingly.

"Well, a lot of guys are waiting for me so I don't bother," she said smirking.

"You naughty girl! I'll tell your mom."

"Just joking, Alice! I ship you with him now. I think you look good together and he seems interested at you."

"That's not true."

"The look he gave you says the opposite," Maureen teased.

"I don't really care. And basically, he has a girlfriend."

Maureen just shook her head and we continued watching the game.

Jake's team won and my thoughts were losing it.
