"Uhm hi. I guess you're with your boyfriend, huh?" Jake smirked.

I never thought Jake would approach me straight up like that. We were not that close.

"Yes. We planned to have fun before the prom." I slightly laughed. I hope Kevin forgives me from lying that he's my boyfriend.

"Oh, I hope you had a great time. Me and my girlfriend love to come here."

"Thank you. Hoped you got a great time, too." I almost mumbled the last sentence. I remember the time when they kissed a while ago. It still lingers my mind how good of a kisser he was.

I finally went inside the restroom and he went inside the restroom, too I, guess.

When I was done, I went out and was about to walk and go back when I saw Jake leaning in the wall, his arms crossed, near the girl's restroom. He walked towards me when he saw me.

"Hey Alice, by the way, I want to invite you to my birthday party. Next Saturday. 7 pm. I'll text you the address."

"I'd love to." I did not even know we're that close to invite me to his birthday party.. We'll I guess we're kinda friends now. "Wait. Do you know my number?" I don't remember giving him my number..

"No. I actually intended to invite you to my birthday party to get your number." He chuckled and held his chin.

I blushed. What the hell. He's so flirty he doesn't even realize it.

"Oh. Here." I handed my phone to him. He got my phone from my hand and slightly brushed his hand on me. Why did that simple skinship tingle me so much?

He smiled brightly. "You can bring your boyfriend too if you want. See you there!" He said goodbye and waved his hand as he leaves me.

"Goodbye!" I smiled.

I was left hanging and standing from my place. I only came back into consciousness when I heard a loud screaming coming from people riding the roller coaster.

"Oh my, Kevin must be wondering why I'm taking so long. I gotta go back fast." I mumbled to myself.

I ran fast on the way to Anchor's Away. It was actually just near to the restroom but I took too long talking with Jake over there. Kevin must be irritated by now.

As I walked towards the people falling in line, I saw Kevin at the front of the line. He's lined third towards the  entrance of the ride. I ran towards him. He keeps on looking at his phone.

I tapped his shoulder. "Hey, I'm so sorry I took so long from the restroom. I just talked to somebody." I told him the truth.

He was surprised but felt at ease when he saw me. "It's okay. I can't call or text you because my phone is dead. Who did you talk to?"

"Just a friend." I put my hands in to his arm.

"A boy or a girl? Name?" He raised his eyebrows.

"A boy. You probably don't know him." I honestly said. I mean we're just friends he doesn't have the right to get jealous.

"Oh okay." He sighed.

He smiled when we are already next to go. "Let's sit in the end point of the boat!" He excitedly said.

"Okay, let's go!"

After we rode two more rides, we ate dinner in a restaurant before finally going home. Kevin brought me home with his car. Tomorrow night is our prom so I must prepare tomorrow morning, so I won't have to rush getting dressed and putting makeover and also not get late.

"Thank you for today and see you tomorrow!" I smiled to him through the car's window.

"I should be the one thanking you. I had a lot of fun with you. See you tomorow! Just text me what time I'll pick you up. "

"I will. Thanks again!"

"No problem. Goodbye!" He chuckled.

"Goodbye!" I waved my hand.

He smiled and stared at me for a little while before he finally left.

I was about to walk towards the gate when I saw the car of Jake parking infront of their house. His girlfriend was talking to him as he parks. I just ignored them and went inside our house.

When I went inside, I did not see mom. Maybe she was in the restroom. I suddenly felt curious again if they already went inside the house.

I took a peak from the window to check at them. Oh my god. They're doing it.

The car is not tinted and I can clearly see Jake's girlfriend on top of him doing bad deeds. Jake have his eyes closed as the girl moves on top of him.
My innocent eyes! I quickly closed the curtain of the window and took a breath.

What the hell did I just witness again! It's more terrible than a while ago!

I was surprised when I saw mom walk towards my place.

She stretched her arms. "Hey you're finally home. Where did you go?"

"I went to an amusement park with Kevin."

She raised her eyebrows. She's suspicious of me. Well..

"We're just friends, okay?" I exclaimed.

"Hmm. Okay. You should sleep already. You need to wake up early so you can prepare for the prom. Also, I asked my friend who's a makeup artist to do your makeup." She explained.

"Thanks, mom." I hugged her.

"Have fun with Kevin, tomorrow." She shaked her head. "As a friend. He's been a very good friend to you since a very long time, huh?"

"Yes, mom. He's still very special to me." I told her honestly. Kevin is indeed one of the people I treasure most. He's been there for me always.

Mom just smiled and kissed me in the forehead.

I went upstairs to the go to the bathroom and clean myself before going to bed. I closed my eyes but I can't sleep. Why does he make me feel so hot and bothered like this? He's not that pure it seems. I haven't experience those yet.. Nevermind. He's out of my league. Taken by another woman, too.
