Things can change overnight,
and problems can dissolve

-Leon Brown.

After the fit Scarlett had thrown, people started to be more cold towards Jaha. Not everyone, but most of them. A lot of people took him less serious and it made her feel relieved. Now a crowd was standing along side the water, laughing at Jaha who was floating on a raft in the middle of it.

"Ha!" Jasper shouted from in front of Scarlett, causing her attention to shift from Jaha to Jasper, "He's awake!" Her blue orbs shot back to Jaha's form, which was indeed shifting in confusion before looking at the group that was staring at him. "Hey, Jaha, it looks like you got floated."

Scarlett snorted in amusement. Jasper had clearly been inspired by her speech and seeing him this care free since Maya died, made her feel ten times lighter than just a few moments ago.

"So Jaha says we need police here and here." Clarke spoke up, coming up from behind her. Scarlett looked away from the scene in front of her and focused on her sister instead, a frown immediately edging onto her face.

"So? He says a lot of things and nobody cares. Besides, the police doesn't exist anymore. We have guards, that's enough." She replied even though she wasn't sure if Clarke was joking or not. Any subject surrounding Jaha or a problem, she took serious.

In the mean time, the crowd around the Griffin sisters were hooting and applauding as Jasper was conversing with Jaha, who hadn't moved. "Keeping yourself busy, Mr. Jordan." Jaha shouted of the waters towards them.

"Oh," Jasper grinned, "I'm living it up, every single day." Jasper replied lightly. Scarlett frowned sadly. Ever since he was informed about the few days they all had to live, he had being living life to the fullest. Well, what he though to be the fullest.

Even though he was walking depression, everyone ignored it or didn't dare to talk about it, including Jaha. "Do I want to know how you managed to do this without waking me up?" He asked instead.

Jasper on the other hand didn't care. He hadn't cared since the death of his girlfriend. At least, it's what he wanted everyone to see. Scarlett kept a close eye on him when she could, knowing very well that he was everything but okay and cared more than he showed. "Oh, probably not, but the effects are harmless, I promise, kind of."

Despite everything, Scarlett laughed.

"All right. We've had our fun. Let's get back to work." Clarke announced, once again shifting her sister's attention to her. Scarlett sighed, rolled her eyes but nodded anyway. She knew Clarke was right, sadly.

Monty appeared moments later next to the sisters, "What's with the 'We're all gonna die' face?" He asked, then realized what he said, "I mean..."

Both blondes turned to the Asian boy with raised brows, "We know what you mean." They said simultaneously, causing him to be taken back for a second. Then a though struck her like lightening as she remembered why she came outside in the first place. Bellamy. "Why isn't Bellamy back yet? He should be..." She trailed off, letting the others know her thoughts.

"Hunting parties go radio-silent. It's nothing new." Monty pointed out, earning him a life threatening glare from the ex-mechanic. He cleared his throat and turned to the more reasonable sister, "What's else?"

A groan of frustration left Clarke's mouth, "I feel useless." She told him honestly, "I'm stuck here in case anyone needs a cut bandaged, supervising the backup plan when I should be going to the island to make Nightblood."
