Oh my god, spill the tea!

"Jeongyeon, please help me," Mina asked desperately.

After Chaeyoung had retreated to the upstairs of Jeongyeon's house (no doubt to sulk), the oldest girl had driven Mina to her apartment, where Mina stood looking utterly lost in front of her wardrobe which had both its doors flung wide open.

"Look it doesn't matter what you wear, you're overthinking this. Are you really that desperate to impress some boy?"

Jeongyeon sat lazily on Mina's bed, resting her back against the headboard whilst watching Mina rummaging through her clothes with a small grin of amusement.

Glaring at Jeongyeonin in indignation, Mina spoke. "I don't want to impress him, he's just a friend. I just don't want to look underdressed."

"If he's just a friend, then why are you going on a date with him?"

"Look, Jeong, I didn't know it was a date till after I agreed to go with him," The younger girl huffed impatiently, "And he is just a friend. Definitely."

The certainty in these last few words took Jeongyeon by surprise.

"How can you be so sure..." A wave of realisation struck her.

"Unless... There's someone else isn't there?! You like someone else?"

Much to Mina's dismay, Jeongyeon had pretty much hit the nail on its head. Before she had a chance to deny the accusation, the blush that confidently strode across her cheeks answered Jeongyeon's question for her, leaving the latter grinning in glee.

"I'm right! Oh my god, spill the tea!"

After a few moments of denial, followed by a stage of Mina desperately trying (and failing) to avoid Jeongyeon's persistent questioning, Mina spilled the details of her slight (or rather very large and steadily growing) feelings for Chaeyoung (without mention of the drunken but not really drunken kiss), leaving the older girl with a smug expression on her face.

"But Mina..." Jeongyeon paused and walked to stand by the younger girl's side.

"Mmhm?"

"So, let me get this straight. You have feelings for Chaeyoung... But you're just about to go on a date with another guy? I don't understand your logic."

Mina shot Jeongyeon a piercing glare, almost making the other wince.

"I told you, I didn't know it was a date. Anyway, why would it matter? Chaeng doesn't like me like that, so there's no point dwelling on unrequited feelings."

Jeongyeon let out a strong steady exhale. "How do you know she doesn't feel the same?"

"Look." Mina sighed in exasperation. "Please just help me choose what to wear. We can talk about this another time."

"Whatever. But we are definitely continuing this conversation at some point, no matter what!"

Chaeyoung begrudgingly made her way down the stairs as she heard Jeongyeon closing the front door.

"Ah look what the cat dragged in!"

"Wow," Jeongyeon chuckled, "I can't even find peace in my own home. Anyway, what's with the sour expression?"

"What do you mean? I'm the epitome of joy!" Chaeyoung slapped a grievingly false smile on to her face, which went perfectly hand in hand with the heavy sarcasm that spouted out of her mouth.

"Sure you are, that's exactly why you've been sulking since you heard about Mina's 'date', isn't it?"

Ignoring this snarky comment, Chaeyoung walked past Jeongyeon and flung herself onto the sofa, sighing as the older girl followed suit.
