"I'll see you at lunch"

Jihyo cheerfully waved off the unexpected visitor, as Nayeon hovered sheepishly over her shoulder, flinching as the girl spun round to face her.

"Im Nayeon. Boy have you got some explaining to do."

The older girl just nodded with a blush of pure embarrassment.

"So are you two a thing now? When did this happen?" Jihyo fired out questions, with an amused expression covering her face as she watched Nayeon fidgeting uncomfortably.

"Um. Well, we're not a thing... it was more of a one-night thing, though I wouldn't mind being exclusive..."

Jihyo sighed. "Oh, Nayeon... You're only going to hurt yourself like this. One night stands are never any good."

Nayeon only nodded in agreement; she knew that she had caught feelings, and now she was in a bit of an emotional mess.

"Jihyo, let's just get ready, we're going to be late."

As Chaeyoung's petite figure entering a classroom caught Mina's eyes, she felt an overwhelming rush of guilt.

She felt guilty that she had enjoyed her 'date' with Jae. She felt guilty that she hadn't thought about Chaeyoung once during the evening. But wasn't this what Mina wanted? To shake herself of any feelings she felt for the girl?

Mina's plan was to try and clear her head by avoiding Chaeyoung, but she soon realised that her first class was Art, in which they sat within a hair's width to each other. To make it even better, Jae also entered the classroom shortly after Chaeyoung, beaming as he made his way over to Mina.

Chaeyoung's ears immediately perked up as she heard Jae greeting Mina. She scoffed and slumped down into her chair, blocking out their voices, evidently annoyed. By now there was no denying that she was inexplicably jealous of Jae's closeness with Mina, with her jealousy being presented as an inextinguishable flame of anger.

The entire lesson played out like this with Mina unwillingly occupied by Jae's aimless conversations, and an enraged Chaeyoung painfully unaware of the glances Mina would constantly send her way.

"Damn it, Jae," Mina muttered as the lesson came to a much-anticipated end, rushing out of the classroom in hope of catching up with the younger girl, who had left with flumes of steam pouring out of her ears.

Jihyo sat alone and bored at her group's regular lunch table, waiting for the others to join her. As she scouted the room trying to catch sight of any one of her friends, a familiar face blocked her view and sat down in front of her.

"Jennie, what's up?"

Jennie Kim, third-year drama student sat opposite Jihyo, gave her a small wave.

"Actually I was wondering if you knew where Nayeon is? She asked me to meet her, but her stupid ass didn't tell me where or when," She asked, rubbing her nape in irritation.

"Nayeon? I haven't seen her today, but you can come round after school? You've still got the key she gave you, don't you?"

Jennie nodded, then abruptly stood up, gaining a questioning glance from Jihyo.

"Jennie Kim. Why are you here, I wonder? Nothing to do with Jeong I hope," Chaeyoung sneered from behind Jihyo.

"What? No of course not," She shook her head in a frenzy.

"You can leave now," Chaeyoung extended an arm and gestured for Jennie to leave, which she did but not without an evident frown on her face.

Sighing, Chaeyoung sat down on Jennie's now empty seat and put her head in her hands.
