Chapter Thirteen: We Meet Again

Katie woke up and checked her phone. It was 6:45 am. She decided to walk Mr. WiggleButt to the park. Katie stood up and went to her closet and picked out her leggings and crop top thats says "psyched" that she bought from H&M and went straight to her bathroom.

After doing her routine, she unlocked her phone and texted her friends.

Katie: Hullo guys! not sure if ya'll asleep or not haha.

Aki: nope. im not yet asleep.

Kate: wyd?

Aki: hentai... you're interrupting me.

Kate: ew... ill just go...

Aki: ok

She then got her small backpack and went out of her room.

Kate wanted to look further into the park nearby. She went out of her room and sees Beethoven in the middle of the hallway, sleeping. "Beethoven, aren't you suppose to make music?" Kate chuckled. Beethoven just snores loudly.

It was around 9 A.M and Kate wanted to take a morning stroll around the park. Why? First, its so calm. You can just listen to the bird sing. And secondly, people walk their dogs. DOGGOS!!! As she entered the park, she noticed the beautiful flock of birds fly by, singing their favourite tune.

Kate then saw Dan with his friends, also taking a morning stroll around the park. Kate decided to say 'Hi' this time. She walked up to Dan, and he already noticed her walking towards him and his friends. "Oh, hey! Kate, right?" Dan asked. Katie nodded. "Yep." She said. "Anyway, what are you doing here?" Dan asked. "Oh, I just wanted to stroll around here." Kate replied, as she gave Dan and his friends a warm smile.

Adrian elbowed Dan. "Jen isn't going to like this." He whispered in Dan's ear. Dan ignored them. "I can't stay long. Maybe I can have your number? We could text later." Dan said. Kate looked at him in disbelief, but agreed anyway. She gave Dan her number. "So, what do you like about this place?" Aiden asked.

"This place is calm. I like it here." Kate said. "Yeah, this place can be perfect to refresh your mind, you know?" Adrian said. Kate nodded in agreement. "Stop hitting on her, Adrian." Aiden said. "W-what? I'm not!" Adrian smacked Aiden in the head.

"Aaanyway," Aiden's tone of voice changed. "Me and Adrian have business to do." Aiden said. "We do?" Adrian asked, looking at Aiden confused. Aiden elbows him in the arm. "Ohhh, yes we do, Aiden." Adrian played along. "Stop messing with me..." Dan said, but it was too late. The twins were already walking away.

"Uhm..." Kate mumbled. "I'm so sorry they did that to us... Especially you." Dan sighed. "Nah, it's cool." Kate nervously laughs. "I'll go now. My mom is probably going to call me by now. You should go home too." Dan told Kate. Kate nodded. "Have a safe trip." He said.

Jennifer's P.O.V

Dan came home. His psycho girlfriend, Jennifer, was in his house. She was sitting at the couch in his living room, watching the TV. "What took you so long?" Jen asked aggressively. "I was just with the boys, babe." Dan replied. "So you're gonna be with the boys everyday and everynight, huh? You'll just forget about me, won't you?" Jen rolled her eyes.

"Babe, it's not like that..." Dan sighed. "Then tell me what is!" Jen yelled, standing up from the couch. Here she goes again... "Babe, calm down." Dan told her. "Calm down? Calm down?! How can I CALM down when you always leave me alone?!" Jen started crying. "Babe, this is the first I went with the boys for 4 months! Give me a break!" Dan groaned.
