Chapter Eight: Leaving Philippines

"Katie, me and your mom talked about this so don't freak out, okay?" Her dad said. "Uhhh okay? I guess?" katie replied and slightly confused. Katie's dad sighed. "Me and your mom decided to live in my hometown which is in the USA."

"...What?" Katie simply responded with a shocked looking. "We already fixed everything actually, your school and passport." Katie's mom said. "And the tickets. We'll leave on April." Katie's dad added.

"Living there will be great but leaving Philippines means leaving my friends.." Katie sobbed, crying heavily. She then went upstairs and locked herself in her room.

"Why are you telling me this now?!" Katie screamed.

Katie's mom tried to go to talk to Katie but her husband grabbed her arm. "Let her go for a while. Let's just talk to her tomorrow."

Suddenly, Aki texted her in the middle of her sobbing. Kate only left her on seen. Aki sent another text, seen once again. Aki sent in multiple texts, the messages consited nothing but ".", and yet again, Aki was left on a seenzone.

At that moment, Aki KNEW something was wrong. Aki had to talk to Katie. She'll also probably update Jax and Val why Katie has been acting so... strange.

After all the sobbing and crying, Kate managed to fall asleep on her bed. She cried herself to sleep.

Katie woke up the next day. She walked up to her mirror and saw the huge mess she became last night. Katie doesn't wanna see her parents about what happened last night. She just took a quick shower, brushed her teeth, put on her uniform, and left the house without her parents even knowing she left.

Katie knew who to go though. Ryan. Since they live quite close by. She went up to Ryan's door and rang his doorbell. "Just a minute!" A blurred out voice called out. The door opened. It was Ryan himself who answered the door. "Katie?" Ryan asked. "What's wrong?"

Katie said nothing at first. "Walk with me." Katie replied. That was the only thing she said. "Alright..." Ryan said, uncomfortably. Ryan stepped out and walked with Katie all the way to school.

Katie and Ryan entered school together. "Are you sure you're okay, Kate?" Ryan asked, just to be sure, but Katie said nothing. In fact, she said nothing all through the entire trip!

Katie went to her classroom. She sees her classroom filled with space. All the chairs were set on the sides, and everyone was already wearing their costumes and starting to practice in their costumes.

Some had blue dresses, white dresses, silver dresses, yellow dresses, and even a Belle like dress but color pink instead of Belle's usual clothing.

The song Beauty and The Beast music played in the background. Katie brought her costume, which was a white with silver dress. She went up with AJ and started dancing along with the rest.

A few of Katie's friends walked up to her and tried talking to her, but Katie would just ignore or barely even answer. If she did reply, it will be a high chance she will just nod yes or shake her head no.

After hours of practice, recess came by. Katie stayed in her classroom and had her head down on her desk with her arms to support her head. She wasn't even in the mood to go out and have a snack.

Eventually, Aki went to her classroom and peeped through the door window. She can barely see Katie on the side edge with her head resting on her desk. Aki opened the door and entered.
