Timeskip to one week later

Lianna's P.O.V

I sit in Tony's helicopter as we fly over Africa. Peter's beside me and he looks over the barren land below us. Dad seemed convinced that I had to go meet my father in Wakanda and Tony happened to...have a helicopter, so we flew over.

"Um...where are we?" I ask him and he turns to me with a wide smile.

"Wakanda, of course," he says.

"...There's nothing here," I point out. He chuckles.

"Wait for it," he urges.

In seconds, it seemed like we went through some sort of forcefield that shielded a whole city. It was a large city that seemed to stretch on forever and by the looks of it, it was a very high-tech one. It was obviously advanced and the citizens piled into high-speed trains while others worked in tall skyscrapers that reached up to the sky. I pressed my hand against the window pane of the helicopter and stared out in awe.

"It's pretty cool, isn't it?" Peter asked, leaning in a little so I could hear him over the noise of the engines roaring.

"It's amazing," I tell him. It really was.

After a while, Happy, Tony's bodyguard, turned the helicopter into a large quadrangle in front of an important looking building. Tony looked back at me from the passenger seat and smiled.

"Hey, kid. You ready to meet your dad?" he asked. I took a deep breath.

"Yeah, I can do this, not nervous at all," I let out a shaky breath and I don't notice Peter's hand snake into mine and he squeezes it gently. I see it and retract my hand. He looks hurt but I just look out the window again. I can't do this right now. Later.

The helicopter lands on the ground smoothly and Happy and Tony get down first. Happy opens the door on my side and wraps an arm around my waist to get me down safely from the height of the helicopter.

"Thanks, Happy," I tell him and he nods with a smile. Tony gently places a hand on my shoulder caringly.

"It'll be okay," he reassures me and I nod.

"Yeah," I reply and he leads me forward, where a large board of important looking people stand. A man in black stands frontmost and has a beaming smile on his face. His hair is cut close to his head and his skin is dark, slightly more so than mine. He outstretches his hand towards me when I walk close enough and I look at Tony for direction. He gestures towards my hand and the man's and I understand. I place my hand atop of his and he slowly presses my hand upon his forehead as he bows. Everyone present follows suit, I realise as I look around. I'm surprised at the gesture and nearly jump a little. "Oh, um, that's not necessary," I protest and the man stands upright again.

"Yes, it is, for you are the future of Wakanda, the princess of Wakanda, Princess Ada," he says and everyone crosses their arms over their hands in an 'X' motion and shouts 'Wakanda Forever' loudly.

"I, um...Ada...?" I say, confused.

"You are Princess Ada, the new hope for Wakanda," he says and I feel my vision blur a little. I press my hand against my forehead and shut my eyes for a second. Peter knows I'm having an anxiety attack and he quickly dives to my side, catching me mid-fall. the soldiers have their spears pointing to him.

"Woah, Woah, Woah, boys. Let's put the weapons away, this might just be your future king here," Tony announces and Peter shoots him a look. The soldiers lower their weapons and the man in front of me looks worried.

"Ada, are you-," he starts.

"I'm not Ada, I'm Lianna," I cut him off. That might have been disrespectful but at this moment, I really cannot be bothered, especially with these people surrounding me like some barrier.

"...Right," he says finally. Tony steps up to him and shakes his hand.

"Sorry, T'Challa," he apologizes.

"It's alright, Mr Stark, it's understandable," he says with a pained smile. Peter strokes my hair gently and holds me close to his chest. As he does this, he gives a slight bow to the man. Is he the king? Wait, if he is, then...

"Let me bring you all the guest chambers," a beautiful woman suggest before I could think any further. We follow her and she leads us into a huge palace with all sorts of technology.

"Hey, you okay? You scared me back there," Tony says as we walk.

"Oh, yeah, I'm okay. Just...confused, I guess," I tell him and he nods. I realise that the high-tech palace's technology isn't from Stark Industries, which is strange. "Hey, Tony, what's all this made out of? It's not your tech," I ask him and he looks around.

"That's right, it isn't, it's actually made out of a nearly indestructible material known as Vibranium. It's produced here," he explains.

"Is that the same metal used in Captain America's shield?" I ask and he pauses, looking at me.

"How did you know that?" he asks.

"The internet's an amazing place," I tell him and he nods after considering it for a while and I laugh lightly. "Hey, miss, where is this place?" I ask.

"It's our communications bay," she turns and tells us. I nod and look around in awe. I don't notice the woman slow her pace down so that I'm right next to her. "I'm Shuri, what's your name?"

"I'm Lianna," I smile and she returns it.

"You know, your father built all this, well, he designed the layout and I made all the tech but still," she shrugs.

"My father?" I ask.

"Yep, King T'Challa himself," Shuri says.

"...T'Challa," that name sounds very familiar. I gasp. "You mean the guy I was in the same room as just now?!" she nods. "The guy I nearly fainted in front of?! He's my father?!" I ask, my tone rising. Shuri gently pats my shoulder.

"Yes and calm down, it's not like he's going to kill you," she rolls her eyes but holds her grin.

"And are you like, the...um...advisor or something?" I question, I mean, the lady seemed important. She giggles.

"I'm the princess of Wakanda," she says and I frown. Wait, what?! Is this lady my SISTER?!

"Are you-!" I start.

"Heavens, no! I'm not your sister!" Shuri giggles. "I'm your aunt," she tells me. Oh. That makes more sense.

"Oh, so um...do I call you...Aunt Shuri or something...?"

"I haven't really thought about that, huh. But, yeah, I mean, I could roll with Aunt Shuri," she nudges me in the shoulder a little and I laugh.

"Alright then, Aunt Shuri," I say with a fake fancy accent for no reason at all. Then, I turn behind. "Hey, guys! Did you know that she's my aunt?" I yell to them and they give me shrugs and 'eh's. So they knew.

We continue walking to a large hub and go up the elevator that was made of glass. Glass. A GLASS ELEVATOR. Aunt Shuri led us to a large room with dangling chandeliers and a humongous bed with invitingly fluffy comforters. Oh, how I would love to jump in.

"Gentlemen, could you please leave the room? This is for the princess and the princess alone," a fierce-looking female warrior steps in with a spear at her right side. Then she breaks into a smile.

"Okoye!" Tony greets and Peter also smiles at her. They seem to be close.

"Hello, my friends. We must catch up, but seriously, this room is only for the princess and her royal highnesses. If you step another foot in without her or my consent, I will not hesitate to stab you," she says seriously and the boys back off. Okoye smiles despite herself and turns to face me. She walks closer to me and bows deeply.

"Oh! Um," I yelp as she stands upright again. "You don't really have to-,"

"Your Highness, the whole nation will be bowing to you one day," she points out.

"Oh, right, I'm a...princess," I say.

"That's right,"

I'm a princess.

I'm a PRINCESS.

I'M A PRINCESS

OH MY GOD
