Peter P.O.V

"Thanks, Happy!" (Aw, fanboy Peter) I wave to him as I exit Mr Stark's helicopter. I enter the Wakandan palace for the first time in weeks and was hoping to see Lianna but instead, I see Nakia. She smiles when she sees me approach her.

"Peter," she greets.

"Hi, Nakia. Do you know where Lianna is?" I ask.

"Princess Ada, you mean," she corrects me. Ever since Lianna became a princess, they've insisted on calling her by her biological name.

"Right, Princess Ada," I stammer.

"She's in the field," Nakia tells me. I give her a slight nod and turn to leave but she isn't done talking. "She's missed you. A lot," Strangely, my heart flutters a little when I hear that. I face Nakia again. "You should go to her. And...tell her,"

"Tell her...?" I question.

"Oh, come on, Peter. I've seen that look. You like her but you haven't told her. Just tell her," Nakia tells me. I slowly nod.

"I will," I say before speed walking to the field. Damn, that woman gives me chills.

When I'm on the patio that leads to the field, I can spot her not too far away with Okoye. She's holding a long, silver bo-staff to fight Okoye and despite the battle cries and the fierce movements, she somehow still looks so graceful. She's amazing. I lean against a pillar as she swings the bo-staff towards Okoye's waist and Okoye catches it. She grabs hold of Lianna's bo-staff and twirls it in one swift motion, enough to send the staff flying out of Lianna's hands. Lianna ducks down just as Okoye tries to hit her from above and she slides through Okoye's legs and grabs her staff, which was lying on the ground. Quickly, she swings the staff to Okoye's back and Okoye falls to the ground. After a while, I see Okoye get up and congratulate Lianna. Lianna beams, happy and as Okoye sees me and Lianna has her back faced to me, she dismisses her. Lianna turns to walk back to the palace and sees me. She freezes for a moment before dropping all her stuff on the grassy floor. Lianna rushes over to me and I outstretch my arms for her.

She jumps into my arms and I lift her off her feet momentarily as she wraps her arms around my neck tightly, burying her head in the crook of my neck in the process.

"Oh my god, you're here! You're here, you're here, you're here!" she squeals like an excited child.

"I am!" I confirm as we part slightly.

"Ahh! I've missed you!!!" she squeals again before hugging me. I chuckle and let her hug me for a few more seconds before letting go. "How did you get here?!" she asks.

"Happy flew me here. I came to see you, you know, see how you were doing," I shrug. She gives me a wary look and points at me with her finger.

"Did my dad make you do it," she asks.

"Whaaaaaat? Okay, yes. But I was gonna come anyway, I missed my best friend," I tell her.

"Aw, tell everyone I say hi," she coos before hitting me lightly on my chest.

"Haha, and, um, one more thing," I start. Lianna props her hands on her hips and looks up at me.

"Yup?" she asks. Okay, now or never, Peter, you need to tell her. "Peter?" she calls.

"Ilikeyouverymuch," I say quickly. She stays silent. Oh no, I messed up, didn't I?

"...What?" she asked.

"I like you, Lianna,"  I repeat and she stares at me for a while.

"I...," she starts but then stops. She takes a deep breath. "Peter, you're my best friend and I-,"
