I wake up in the morning and see sunlight spilling from the windows, through the day curtains and onto my bed. I pry my eyes open, even though I'm glaring because of the light. I groan and grab my phone from the bedside table, I was never a morning person. I turn my phone on and look at the time.

7:21 AM, Friday

Well, at least I'm not late and it's a Friday. I sigh and sit up. School starts in half an hour. I place my phone on the table again and drag myself out of bed and into the bathroom. I brush my teeth and wash my face lazily before walking back out into my room to my closet. I was never a huge fan of clothes, so my closet consisted of maybe...10 or 20 pieces of clothing? Mixing and matching was key. I pulled out a white shirt that went just above my belly button and a pair of white ripped jeans. Well, I'm screwed if I spill coffee.

Just then, my phone rings. I pick my phone up to see the caller ID and of course...

It was Peter Parker, my best friend.

"Hey, Peter," I greeted.

"Hi!" oh my god, he was so dorky. "Do you need a ride?" he asked.

"Eh, sure, why not," I reply, I didn't really want to walk anyways.

"Great! I'll be there in five!" Peter says and hangs up. Ah, he's such a lovable idiot. Despite the fact that he's older than me by a year, he still acts like a little kid. I skipped grade to Peter's year because the teachers said I had 'potential' or something, so Dad agreed to let me skip a grade since I learned everything on my own already anyway.

It's true.

I am a nerd.

I grabbed my jacket since it looked like it was about to rain and then my bag. I slung it over my shoulder and made my way down to the street. On the way down, I saw Dad and when he saw me, he quickly went to get a piece of toast from the table.

"Take one before you leave, honey!" he urges and holds the toast out to me. I smile and take it.

"Thanks, Dad," I give him a peck on the cheek before heading to the door. Wong sees and outstretches his arms for a hug. I give him a hug and he strokes my head before gently pushing me out the door.

"Good luck on the exam!" he tells me.

"Thanks!" I reply and walk further out to the street, where Peter's new car was. I assume Mr Tony Stark bought him a car. Peter beams when he sees me and gestures for me to come in. I slide into the blue car and onto the soft, plush interior.

"Hi!" he greeted me.

"Hey, " I smile.

"Do you like the car?" he asks. And he didn't ask it in a douchey way, he asked me like... Like a little kid asking his mom if she liked his newest drawing.

"Well, I didn't think blue was your colour," I notice. Because, well, he was Spiderman. (yes, I know he's a crime-fighting superhero) and I thought he'd go for red.

"I decided I should...I dunno, change it up a bit?" he shrugged. "Do you like?"

"Yeah, it's pretty, " I reply. It was, really. It had a metallic coat of light blue on it and a light brown interior. Nice.

"Thanks! I thought you'd like it since your favourite colour was blue, " Peter says but then gasps. "I mean! Not that I chose it for you!" I can practically feel his embarrassment.

"Whatever you say, Peter, " I laugh to myself. Peter had a crush on me, it was pretty obvious, I know. I knew about this since we met a few months ago in school. But...
