Lianna's P.O.V
I open my eyes slowly and immediately, a blinding light fills my vision. I wince slightly and use my hand to shield my eyes. My other hand lightly brushes against a soft surface and I sit up. I'm on a lush, white bed and I'm in the middle of a large field. A large field of... my favourite flowers, poppies. An endless, endless field that seemed to stretch on forever. Scarier than that, I was alone.
"H...Hello?" I yell. My voice echoes and it seems like it bounces against invisible walls. I swing my legs over the side of the bed slowly and set my bare feet on the ground. The warm soil tingles my feet as I stand up fully. The grass is thick and it tickles my skin, reaching as high as past my ankles. A gust of wind blows and my hair blows past my face. But...my hair is brown. Brown. I run my fingers through my hair in confusion and look around for anything that could make sense of all of this.
"Is anyone there?" I yell out. Where am I? I walk forward a little and after a while, I turn back to see how far I've walked, but, the bed I was previously on had disappeared. I frown but continue walking. This can't be real. This has to be some form of mental prison or maybe I'm in another realm. I raise my hands and try to open a portal. A blue spark appears but nothing else. It's like my powers have died out. I try using my powers to freeze the ground below my feet but it doesn't work either. Where is this place?
"Peter? Dad? Wong? Father?" I yell in desperation. I hear a strange noise behind me and I turn quickly. It's Dad. "Dad!" I exclaim in excitement before running to him. He says nothing and when I get close enough, he fades away like he was some sort of illusion. "No! Dad!" I cry out. The same strange noise is made behind me and I turn abruptly. This time, it's Peter. "Peter!" I run to him as well but the same thing happens. "What the hell!" I scream as I crumble to the ground in defeat. "Come back!"
Suddenly, the ground beneath my fingers turns into ice and spreads quickly on the ground. I gasp in shock, this isn't my doing. Large, black thorns grow from the ground and form a cage-like structure around me. I frantically try to get out but the thorns prick my fingers, making them bloody.
"No, no, no, let me out! LET ME OUT!" I scream in fear. The strange noise could be heard again and I turn slowly. It's him, Thanos. "Let me go, please," I'm crying at this point. He says nothing and steps closer to me. I try to back away, but my back touches the thorns and I wince.
"Don't try to run from me, I will catch you," he growls. "I always will," he's only a metre away from me. "Give me the Stones," he demands.
"What stones?" I ask, genuinely confused.
"The Infinity Stones," Thanos snarled at me.
"I don't know what those are, so please, let me go," I beg.
"I did not do this to you, child, your father did," he says as he paces around in front of me.
"W...What do you mean?" I question, confused.
"Stephen Strange did this to you when he put the Stones in your body. Your biological father passed you to him in an attempt to keep you away from me. He tried to make sure I'd never find you. You know," Thanos turns to face me. "You had a childhood once, one where you lived on Wakanda. You lived there for five years with T'Challa, before I found you. Strange then took you in and Thor banished me into Muspelheim, where I've lived on for years, trying to survive on that burning rock of a planet. I escaped and the only goal in my mind, is to find the Stones, which lie within you, a mere child," he spits out in distaste. "You're 'dad' wiped all memories of you being on Wakanda and having the Infinity Stones and brought you into his home. That's why you do not remember anything of that sort," he explained.
