Chapter 14

It was today. Wes was coming back again to the office. Emily was so excited to have her Best friend coming back to the Office. To her she thought happily.

She had dressed up really nicely not for Wes per say But because she felt Like it But yes she wanted to take his breath away.

She was wearing a ribbed yellow swing dress, ballerina shoes and she let her natural curls frame her face. Her makeup was natural. Her lipstick a soft pink. She was wearing a little rose in her hair that took her side bangs away from her hair.

When she walked into the Office building she felt nervous to see Wes again. Which she knew was silly. It was just Wes after all. Nothing had changed between Them But god did she want it to. Wishful thinking and all that . Sadly though.

When she reached the Office Doors she flung Them open.

Wes was already there talking to Mari and Joven with his back turned towards her.

'WES!' She exclaimed happily

He turned around and smiled at her, his whole face lighting up.

They ran towards each other and Met in the middle where Wes pulled her into a bone crushing hug and Emily fiercely hugged him back.

' i missed you bright eyes'

'I missed you too Em'

The rest of the gang were in the back Ground Watching Them. Lasercorn filmed their Exchange and smiled in a manic Way.

They pulled apart But Emily smiled at him so much her cheeks would definetly hurt later But she didn't Care. Wes was back and she had missed him so much.

The next couple of weeks felt amazing. Almost waaay too good to be true.

In hindsight Emily should have Been causious. Worried.

She should have Been waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Over the next few weeks she let her guard Down more around everyone. Especially Wes.

They were always editing videos together. Coming up with video ideas. Sitting next to each other when they were both recording videos.

He was her go to person. Her Best friend. And she was incredibly into him. This would crash and burn. This would end badly. But god Emily wish it wouldn't.

She had tried to Tell him how she really felt. On so Many different occations and for at least a good month so far.

It was late april already. A new member had joined the Smosh games family.

Emily absolutely adored Damien, he was funny and so sharp. Just having a conversation with him was incredible. And oh god his love of cats was adorable.

She had of course Met him a couple of times because she had Been hanging out with Shayne.

Plus Damien had Been the one who had given her Luna.

Everything seemed amazing in the Office. Emily felt stable. Even slightly happy at times.

She was going to therapy. She was on anti deppressants and for the first time in ages she felt Like she coulf breathe. Smile. Live.

She was hanging out with people both at the office and after the day was over.

Everything felt too good to be true. Maybe it really was too good to be true.
