So here it is! Part 2 of Crash! I am really sorry for not updating in a little, but since I have now 2 jobs, school and my training I am really busy, but I hope to find a rhythm in which I can find enough time to write.

But here it is, enjoy!

A few weeks later, Stoffel was still unconscious. You hadn't left his side once, not even when Lewis tried to talk with you outside because Stoffel's parents were also in the room. Ever since you had fallen out with him you had ignored him. He was after all the one that crashed into Stoffel and made him end up in the hospital in the first place.

"Y/n?" Lewis came into the room again for what seemed like the billionth time. He surely wasn't a quitter. "If you will just listen to me this time, I will leave you alone. I promise!" You looked at Stoffel's mother for reassurance. She nodded and you stood up. Through the weeks you had spent in the Belgian hospital Stoffel had been transferred to you had gotten a close bond with his family and had told his mother the whole story of Azerbaijan, including Lewis in the story.

You walked after Lewis into the hallway.

"You only get a few minutes Lew, I suggest you use them wisely." Lewis started talking about how he was sorry and he never meant to run Stoffel of the track. He even broke down into tears. You placed your arms around him and soothingly rubbed his back.

"Please forgive me Y/n!" You couldn't stay mad at him any longer and decided to just forgive and forget, for how much the forgetting was possible at that point.

"I will Lew, I will." You told him and Lewis hugged you closer than he had ever done before and it felt like he was crushing your bones.

"Thank you Y/n, I love you." You chuckled.

"I love you too Lew, but I am going back to Stoff. You should go home and rest. You are flying to Canada soon." Lewis smiled and let go of you.

"Call me when he wakes up." You nodded, of course, you would. You gave Lewis a final hug and then walked back into Stoffel's room.

"And?" Marleen asked.

"you were right. Guess I should have predicted that..." She chuckled.

"Family is one of the most important things in life Y/n, don't ever forget that."

"I won't."

"I am going to get a cup of coffee, do you want some?" You nodded. When you were alone in the room again you put your head in your hands. You making things up with Lewis was just a part of solving a much bigger problem. Stoffel being unconscious was the biggest problem yet to be solved. You remained with your head in your hands a little longer until after a few minutes someone softly whispered your name. Your head shot up as you recognised the voice and as you looked up, you looked straight into his beautiful blue eyes.

"Stoffel..." You whispered, your voice thick with emotion as your eyes started to fill with tears of happiness. You took his hand and kissed his knuckles, afraid to hurt him. "Thank goodness..." Stoffel made an effort to pull you closer, but seeing the position he was in - in a hospital bed, wired up to several monitors - it didn't really do anything, so you stood up and leaned forward, capturing his lips. It was just your second kiss, but it was so full of love, passion and emotion in general. "I am going to get your mother, she went for a cup of coffee and I am positive she would love to look her son in the eye again." Stoffel gently nodded and you walked out of the room with the biggest smile possible on your face. Daniel could probably not even beat you on it this time. You ran to the cafeteria, where Marleen was holding a cup of coffee and was talking to someone you didn't know. "Marleen!" You basically yelled and he turned to face you, a worried look on her face, but when she saw your smile, it changed into a hopeful look.

"Did he..." She paused for a few seconds. "Wake up?" You nodded and you and Marleen embraced each other before walking back to Stoffels room. Marleen had quickly called Stoffel's father to tell him Stoffel had woken up. When he arrived, you walked out of the room to give them some privacy while they spent some time with their son. It also gave you the chance to call Lewis, so you took out your phone and dialled his number.

"Y/n is everything okay?!" You could hear the worry in his voice.

"More than fine."

"He is awake?!"

"Yes."

"Can I stop by?"

"Aren't you supposed to be on the airport to fly home?" Lewis didn't say a word. "You have already left haven't you?" You chuckled. "I'll be outside his room."

"Give me fifteen minutes." His breathing had picked up, indicating he was running.

"Of course." You smiled and ended the call, resting your head against the wall, the smile still plastered on your face.

"Someone is wondering where you are." Marleen had come out of the room. "Lewis?" You nodded and joined her back into the room.

"Who were you talking to?" Stoffel asked and you bit your lip.

"Lewis..." Stoffel clenched his jaw together. "He is really sorry Stoff, for everything." You looked at him. "he'll try to tel you himself too." Marleen placed her hand on your shoulder.

"He has been here so many times if he hadn't been sorry he wouldn't have done that Stoff..." She backs you and Lewis up. Stoffel just gave in after that and the next ten minutes you spent talking, telling Stoffel what had happened during the crash and while he was unconscious.

"I am going to wait outside for Lewis." You told Stoffel and his parents and stood up to walk out of the room. Lewis was already standing there. "Lew?! Why didn't you knock." Lewis looked insecure, something he rarely was. You closed the door behind you for a little. "It's okay Lew, I've got your back." He nodded and you took his hand and dragged him into the room.

"Hey Stoffel..." Lewis said, unsure of what else to say.

"Hey Lewis." Marleen and Patrick left the room so Lewis and Stoffel could talk, but you stayed just in case something would go wrong.

"I am really sorry for everything that has happened... I shouldn't have overreacted, at least not as much as I did and I certainly shouldn't have let those emotions cloud my focus during the race." Stoffel shot me a glare and sighed.

"It is okay Lewis. It is important to Y/n that I forgive you, so I will." It looked like a huge weight fell off Lewis's shoulders.

"You really love her don't you?"

"I really do." You blushed.

"Well, you better. And you know, if you ever hurt her I am going to kill you. And myself for letting the two of you date without another word from my side." You smiled brightly. Oh, how did this day turn your mood around.

"Thanks, Lewis." Lewis smiled and gently pushed you towards Stoffel. "I love you too Vandoorne." You whispered before putting your lips on his.
