Plot: You secretly date Nico behind Daniel's back. 

"Daniel..." You whined. For the first time in a long time, you were going to join your brother to the factory. The last time you had gone with him he was still at Red Bull. 

"Why are you so excited?" You were stood with your back towards your brother and you bit your lip. There was a reason why you didn't want to tell your brother. There was a reason you wanted to go with your brother so badly. It hadn't been long since the 2018 season had ended and Daniel had found his place within the Renault team, which meant he was finally able to take his sister with him. However, he didn't know that somewhere during the previous season, you had fallen in love with his new teammate and had been dating him since the German Grand Prix. Without him knowing of course. Otherwise, it couldn't have been a problem seeing he would have either been okay with it and let you live your lives happily, or he would have broken you up. Either way, he wouldn't have to be worried to take you with him afterwards.

You didn't want to take the guess that he would break you two up quite yet so you and Nico made the mutual decision you wouldn't tell him. Not until the two of you would have such a steady relationship you would be able to fight Daniel off together. 

You were getting closer, but still, you didn't have the feeling you were there yet, so it still was a secret to almost everyone. The only ones who knew were your best friend, Nico's best friend, his press officer and one of his engineers as he ran into you and Nico making out.

"Can't I be excited to finally see your new workspace?" Daniel narrowed his eyes and your heart started racing in your chest. He wasn't on to you, right?

"Well, I guess not. Now come on, let's go." You smiled and hopped in Daniel's car. It wasn't a long drive to the factory fortunately as you could barely your happiness as you couldn't wait to see Nico again. 

"Nico!" Daniel immediately spotted his teammate and greeted him. Then the German turned to you and gave you a hug. There was nothing strange about that seeing you gave everyone you knew the slightest and liked a hug. 

"How is my favourite German doing?" You asked him and he smiled. "I'm okay, missing some people I care about, but that's just part of the job now isn't it?" He gave you a subtle wink, making you realise he was talking about you. 

"Well, I'm sure your job made it possible for you to meet a lot of amazing people along the way as well." You replied, another message hidden within it. You and Nico had gotten quite good at it to just say something meaningful to each other while to outsiders it was just a simple conversation about something as the weather. 

"I was going to show her around. Care to join us?" Daniel asked and Nico nodded. 

"Sure, but I do only have thirty minutes, I have an appointment after that." Daniel and you nodded. 

"That should be enough time." You smiled at Nico and he smiled back. You started the tour and Nico excitedly started to tell you about everything you passed by. "Is there something I should know about?" Daniel suddenly asked you. "I mean, Nico would have never been so excited about showing around. I mean, it's almost the same as Red Bull's, in the essence. Just other colours and people. Further, it is pretty much the same."

"Let him be, he's just trying to impress his teammate's sister. After all, I'll be in the garage quite a lot, he feels like he needs to make a good impression. Let him be." You smoothly talked around what Daniel was actually after. 

"Maybe you're right, after all, you are a pretty girl."

"Some would say the one with the best genes in the Ricciardo family." You joked and Daniel faked a gasp. 

"Nico, who's the better looking?" Nico laughed, it was not that hard to decide who was the most handsome. 

"That would have to be Y/n without a doubt. Sorry mate, but she's got way better looks than you." Daniel shook his head in disbelief. "Sorry mate." You chuckled and placed your hand on Nico's shoulder.

"Finally someone who isn't starstruck by Daniel and really tells the truth. I'm sorry to break it to you but time is nicer to me than to you." Daniel's eyes widened and you shrieked and started running. Nico quickly caught up with you. 

"Do you trust me, I know the perfect place to go." He extended his hand as you ran with Daniel behind you as a maniac. 

"You take that back right now you!" You placed your hand in Nico's as you had done so many times and he took you with him somewhere and soon you had lost Daniel. 

"Thank you." You smiled at him before pecking his lips.

"Gosh, I missed you." He pulled you close and kissed you with all he had. You chuckled against his lips and tangled your fingers in his hair. He deepened the kiss until someone cleared his throat behind you. Immediately the two of you let go of each other to see Cyril Abiteboul behind you. 

"Don't tell-" Nico was about to beg the team principal to not tell your brother but you interrupted him. 

"It's okay, we have to do it at some point. Besides, it is not fair to Daniel or to you to not tell him. I am ready to tell everyone who wants to know."

"But-" 

"No buts, I love you, why should I hide it? Now, let's go look for Daniel and tell him." 

"That was about to be time." Daniel came walking in and you gasped.

"How much did you hear?" You and Nico looked at Daniel in shock. 

"Everything. I even saw Nico shoving his-"

"Daniel!" You interrupted him with a stern look.

"I knew since the two of you first got together. I'm not stupid. I know when my sister is in love and quite frankly it wasn't that hard to figure out it was Nico who was the lucky guy to have gotten ahold of your heart." 

"You're not angry at us for not telling you?" Daniel shook his head. 

"I knew you would have had a valid reason for not telling me. And you did, you wanted to be sure whether it was real. That's a valid enough reason." You smiled brightly and jumped into your brother's arms. 

"You're a weirdo with the biggest heart in the world. Gosh, I love you too, Dan."

"You better treat her like the princess she is." You laughed. 

"And a weirdo who is too big of a drama queen."
