Sam's POV
There was a gun shot downstairs and I screamed. I got out from the crawl space and went into his room. I didn't hear any footsteps so I walked out of his room and crept downstairs. My head told me to get back upstairs but I didn't want to be alone anymore. A hand pulled me back and I screamed. Another hand went around my mouth. I screamed and tried to break free until I realized it was Ashton.
"Shh, it's okay." He said.
"What happened? Did someone die?" I cried. He nodded his head and looked down. I cried and I didn't even know who it was.
"Who was it?" I quietly asked.
"Calum." Ashton whispered. I sobbed into Ashton's chest. This wasn't how I imagined this night to be like at all. All I wanted was a fun evening with friends and it turned into death row.
"It's okay, we'll be okay." Ashton said, trying to calm me down.
"How can you say that?" I exclaimed. "One of our friends just died and you're trying to tell me that'll we'll be okay? We won't! We're going to die. We're all going to die!" I cried. I fell to my knees and cried. Ashton wrapped his arms around my waist and held me.
"I'm going to do anything I can to make sure you get out of here alive. I know it isn't safe anywhere right now, but I promise that we'll be okay. Please believe me." Ashton said.
"I can't believe you. I'm sorry. Not when our friend just got murdered." I told him.
Talia's POV
We all heard screaming from upstairs. It was Sam.
"Do you think he's hurting her?" Alexa asked.
"She probably heard the gunshot, found out what happened." Luke said quietly beside me. We all haven't spoken much since Calum. Alexa hasn't quit crying. Michael has been trying his best to calm her down but it was no use. None of us were calm, not even Michael.
Footsteps came from the stairs and the sound of the door unlocking. Ashton appeared with a knife in his hand. He pointed at me with the knife.
"Let's go." He said.
"Ashton, not her, please." Luke said.
"Fine, then you follow me." He told Luke.
"Luke, no. Please don't go." I pleaded. I grabbed his arm and tried to hold him back.
"I'll be okay." He lied. He kissed me before standing up and walking over to Ashton. He followed Ashton into the next room. The door locked and I had a horrible feeling that would be the last time I saw Luke.
Luke's POV
Ashton tied me back up in the chair I was in earlier. I stayed quiet even though I knew what was going to happen.
"I hate to kill you instead of Talia. It was pretty stupid if you ask me that you sacrificied yourself for her. She's going to die anyway." He said.
"I didn't ask you." I mumbled. He took the knife and plunged it into my hand. I held in a scream so I wouldn't scare the others in the other room.
"I never liked you, you know that right? I remember, the first day I met you, you completely ignored me. You wouldn't talk to me until I comfronted you about not liking me, and even after that you were always short worded. I know you talked about me to Calum behind my back. You said that I tried to hard to fit in. You never liked me either, I'm not stupid. But you are for pretending to be my friend for so long. You should have gotten out while you could." Ashton explained to me before stabbing me in my stomach. I bent over in pain and coughed up blood.
I felt the warm liquid pour of my stomach. He stabbed me again in the other hand and I winced, still hesitant to make a sound. The blood from my stomach wouldn't stop and I felt nausous.
"You're going to sit here and suffer until you die." He told me. Ashton retreated up the stairs while I choked on my own blood. I wanted so badly to scream out in pain but I knew I couldn't. I looked over to the door and saw Calum's lifeless body on the ground. We were so close to getting out of this place; for all of us to live.
I remember hearing the sound of another gunshot before I took my last breath.
