Chapter 2 - Morning

Eww mornings are not my thing not one bit. I can smell something good coming from downstairs. Must be dad making Brad breakfast at least, for me it's normally I slice of toast or banana as I run out the room. Haha always running late on Mondays only. It's just those fun weekends and then Monday hit and downhill from fun from there.

I'm almost dressed in my yellow and blue school uniform. Its 2018 why are we still wearing these thing?? I put the finishing touch to my makeup, hair and I put on Noah's tie. Yeah your thinking why does she have it but it's makes me feel closer to him and safe. Ugh I miss him so much these last couple weeks have been hard. As I'm looking at myself in the mirror my phone goes off. *buzz buzzzz*

He's face pops up on my phone! "Noah! Good morning. I love you!"
"Morning to you to Shelley! Wanted to call and say I hope you have a safe and fun first day of senior year."
Safe wtf he already doesn't trust me. Okay okay I get it, yeah last year I go myself into some situations I wasn't supposed to be in.
"Noah safe is my new middle name. I'll be fine please don't worry about me I got Lee." I'm trying to reassure him so he doesn't worry for me. " Okay I believe you Elle! Well good luck is what I'm really trying to say."

*BEEP BEEP*

"Noah I have to go now Lee is here. Honking like a crazy person. Please don't worry about me I'll be fine. Text me tonight so we can FaceTime. Ok?"
"Sure thing Elle. See you later. Love you!"
"Love you too! Bye."
Ugh I love this boy so much. I quickly grab my stuff and make a run for the door before Lee goes off again.

"Bye Dad, see yea Brad be good." Before then can say anything I'm out the door, running up the hill of my driveway. Lee is about to say something but I cut him off right away. "Yeah I know I heard the honking. I was talking to know, but I'm here now. Petal to the metal man!" "Wow what's your hurr— wait is that Noah's tie your wearing? How did you get it?"

I give him a look of what I don't know what your talking about and try to change the subject quickly. "Shelley my question!" " okay I went to his room one day and took it." I start to play with it as I'm telling him how,why and when I took it. Plus it wasn't the only think I took that was Noah's. " okay your weird but it's ok I'll still be you friend." Laughing his head off thinking he's so funny. I stick out my tough at him with a stern look, but it fades fast and we both start laughing uncontrollably.

"This is going to be a great senior year Elle! We have almost every class together and I'm the only Flynn!" Lee's going to say this all year. "You are so right!" Well I hope he's right at least there won't be any fight and I won't have to watch my back for every little thing I do. Which kind of makes me sad remembering Noah's not here to protect me from on own stupidity. No I can't think like that it's going to be okay this year. It's going to be ok, I just keep saying over and over.
