Chapter 6- sunrise

Lee and I were still cuddled up together when we woke up the next morning. I could feel the warmth of the sun on my skin, it was such a welcoming sensation. As I start to wake, I open my eyes to see Mrs.Flynn smiling down at us. She used to find us sleeping like this when we were little, she knew something must be wrong though. She would find us like this if one of us was upset about something. I don't think she knows that Rachel broke up with Lee the past week.

"Morning, I made breakfast if you are hungry." She said so sweet, knowing something is wrong but not asking about it. She was good like that, somehow we would figure it out ourselves or eventually telling her.

I turned to see lee still sleeping, his hair was all over the place looked like a birds nest to me. I laughed at the thought. I decided he slept long enough so I started to poke his face to wake him. Finally poking him one last time, mind you it took 5 minute to try and wake him. "Morning sleepyhead! Your mom said there's breakfast on the table. Get up I'm starving."
I throw a pillow to make sure he's getting up and following me in the kitchen.

We polished our plates clean, pancakes,bacon and eggs you name it she made it. I told Lee I was going to go home and come back later to hang out but I had to go shopping for some school supplies.

Later that day:

I went to a couple store to get some new pants,shirts and a couple cute dresses for if I go to any parties. Thinking I was going to get a couple things and then go home, nope. Hours later I was still at the mall alone with 10 bags of clothes in my hands. Just before I left the mall I got a chocolate milkshake to bring back to Lee because I'm the best person in the world. I did have one more stop being going to his house and putting on a fashion show of all the new stuff I bought. I needed his opinion just in case I looked stupid or if it was inappropriate.

I get out at the staples by Lee's house and go straight to find some paper and pens for the new school year. I end up running into Rachel and her mom like I mean I ran into her. "Oh I'm so sorry, I didn't see you there." Rachel looked at me with utter shock. "Hey it's okay." She looked at the floor when she said it. It looked like she was helping her mom with tons of cardboard boxes. Was Rachel moving or something?

"Rachel can I talk to you for a minute. If your not in a hurry or anything?" I hope she says yes, I need to ask her about Lee. She told her mom she would just meet her at the car. "Yea Elle what do you want to talk about?" I think I might have made her mad because I cornered her. "I just want to know why you broke up with Lee out of nowhere? He's heartbroken and he's not in "LOVE" with me." I look her right in the eyes making sure she knows that she has hurt my best friend.
