I get the tissue box out and Lee starts.
"Right when the bell rang I went to tell you that we were going home to hangout and I asked if she wanted to join. She wouldn't even look me in the eyes, she just kept looking everywhere but at me. I asked her if everything was okay but got nothing. I saw a couple tears streaming down her face, she was trying to hind them. I could she see was in pain or something.
Then it just came out as if she was holding her breath that she couldn't be with me anymore. She said something on the lines of me liking you in a romantic way. I told her right away that we are just best friends basically twins and we didn't feel that way about each other, it would be gross. No offence, I was just being extra nice to you these last couple weeks since Noah left, I didn't want you to see said anymore." Lee said all of this so fast that I didn't know what to say to him but just stare.
I hadn't realized that my mouth was open till Lee lifted my chin up.
"Lee I don't know what to say, it came out of nowhere. Just because your helping me feel less lonely with Noah gone makes it like your in "LOVE" with me. I don't understand what she thinking." It's been like 5 months since they've been together and she just starts to feel like this.
"Shelley your right! Why all of a sudden she feels this way? I'm going to call her right now." He pulls the phone out of his jeans pocket and I slap it out of his hands.
" don't call right now, try and find her tomorrow at school so you two can talk about it in person." I'm hoping he agrees with me on this. He nods "fine, tomorrow"
For the next couple hours we just watched tv or played some video games. When I say played I mean Lee played and I watched while eating some chips. We both didn't talk about the breakup but I hope they can fix it. I don't like to see Lee this upset he's my best friend I just want to see him happy.
Wondering whats going through Rachel head right now thinking like this all of a sudden. Lee has just been extra nice to me plus he said I needed to get some sun, said something on the lines of me turning into a vampire. Maybe we've watched to many episodes of The Vampire Diaries.
