"There's a very minimal chance that the person who did this wasn't Barnes." Natasha said, looking at you with serious eyes.
"But what about that small chance? I know for a fact that Bucky didn't do this." You assured, being just as serious as her. After all, you had been in contact with him lately, and it just so happened that you were on the phone with him when it happened. But you'd never tell anyone that.
"And how do you know that?" She asked, catching onto your little secrets. She could tell from your eyes that you were hiding something. "y/nー"
You stood up, not wanting to be interrogated today. "I'll see you later." The harshness in your voice surprised Nat, hardly ever hearing your irritated tone. She knew what you were up to, and she planned to get to the bottom of it.
