"Tony, I've been an avenger for two years now." You reminded, wondering if he was just being delusional in space.
He gave you a small smile, wrapping his arms around you from behind, watching the blue sky surround you two. To be truthful, he was worried.
He didn't want to lose you under the hands of the mysterious purple guy that could control the universe. At times, he wished you weren't an avenger, just needing you to be safe at home.
"I know." He whispered, pressing a kiss to your temple. You held tight onto his arm, just wanting to be back in New York.
"Justーpromise me you'll be careful out there." You puled, hands trembling in the slightest bit.
"Of course I will. I just need you to do the same." A tear slipped out of his eye, not wanting to lose you. He loved you too much.
