Thor motioned to his hammer, Mjolnir, which was sat on the middle of the table. You moved your gaze to it, a slight glare appearing.
"you know damn well that I can't lift that thing," you laughed, setting your beer bottle down. Thor smirked when you stood in front of the hammer with wary eyes. "But it's worth a try."
Your grip circled the handle, breathing out before you attempted to lift the thing off the table. Lips parting in astonishment, the hammer felt like nothing.
You were holding Mjolnir.
Thor jumped up from his seat on the couch, looking at you with the same look you gave the hammer. "holy shit."
