Chapter 7 (Partner)

Partner
After the festival, things had gone back to usual, with Nishikata getting teased and with the boring class the students endure to be able to go home, the last subject teacher had planned for a game activity.
Teacher "Class! We'll have a fun game!" Students replied tiredly "What??" Teacher replied "Okay it's called The Newspaper game, so I will add a special prize to the winners which is.. exempted from EXAMS!" Kimura replied "ALL RIGHT!! LETS PLAY!!" Teacher replied "That's the spirit Kimura-kun! The rules are simple, you must find a partner whether it'll be a boy or a girl! I will hand out newspapers for you to use, you will use the newspaper for the both of you to stand on. Every round we will fold the paper making it smaller and whoever pair does not touch the floor and is the one left standing wins!"
Finding a partner
Nishikata "W-who should I partner with.. I'll ask Takao, Takao-kun! Let's partner up.." Takao replied "Me and Kimura are partners already" Nishikata replied "O-okay I'll ask Nakai-kun.. Nakai-kun! Let's partner up!" Nakai replied "Me and Mano are partners.." Nishikata replied "O-okay I'll ask teacher to find a partner for me.. Teacher! I don't have a partner.. could you ask everyone?" Teacher replied "Okay Nishikata, everyone do you have a partner?" All "Yes teacher!" Takagi replied "I don't have a partner sir!" Teacher replied "Okay partner with Nishikata" Nishikata whispers "W-what?? S-she'll tease me.." Takagi replied "Looking forward to partner up with you Nishikata" *grins* Nishikata replied "M-me too.." *blushes* Students "Nishikata is blushing!" Nishikata replied "N-NO!!" Students replied "Ehh Nishikata's so happy to partner up with her girlfriend" Nishikata replied "LIKE I SAID WE'RE NOT DATING!!" *blushes*
Handing out newspapers
Teacher "Does everyone have a newspaper??" Students replied "Yes sir!"
Teacher replied "Okay let's begin!"
Playing
Teacher "Kimura and Takao out! Next round!" Teacher "Hibino and Sanae out!" "Yukari and Hansuke out!" Teacher "So the only ones left are Nishikata, Nakai, and Hamaguchi's pairs!"
In Nishikata's mind "W-we're winning!! I-I thought we would lose first round.."
Teacher "Hamaguchi and Houjou out! The only ones remaining are Nishikata and Nakai's pairs!" Kimura "GO NISHIKATA!! MAKE UP FOR MY LOSS!!" Nishikata replied "Wha- *kisses Takagi*" *Takagi shocked and blushes* Takagi "N-Nishikata.."

Nishikata replied "I-I DIDN'T DO IT ON PURPOSE!!" *Teacher and students shocked* Takagi replied "N-Nishikata.." *blushes* Teacher replied "O-oh.. Hamaguchi and Nakai pairs out!! The winners are Takagi and Nishikata!!" *awkward silence*
In Nishikata's mind "I-I don't know if I should be happy or embarrassed.. at least we won and exempted from exams.."
Teacher "O-okay students! Class dismissed! Nishikata and Takagi, come to school tomorrow, just stay on the school grounds since you guys are exempted from exams" Nishikata replied "O-okay sir.."
Going home
In Nishikata's mind "T-Takagi-san has been silent since the kiss.." *blushes* Nishikata "T-Takagi-san.. i-it's good were exempted from exams.. right?" Takagi replied "Y-yes.. I'm going this way.. bye Nishikata.." Nishikata replied "O-oh okay.. bye too Takagi-san.." Takagi replied "B-by the way Nishikata, you've won.." Nishikata replied "W-what??" Takagi replied "T-that game we had.. whoever kisses the other wins.." Nishikata replied "O-oh.."
In Nishikata's mind "I-I won?? I-I don't feel like it.." Takagi replied "A-and Nishikata.. r-remember that time when I said I liked you? I-I meant it.." *blushes Nishikata replied "W-what?" *blushes* Takagi replied "W-well Nishikata.. bye now!"
In Nishikata's mind "D-did Takagi-san just confess to me?! ME?! I-I think I need to respond to her.. I guess I'll think about it later.."
Nishikata has not been able to decide whether to react happy or embarrassed.
