we went back home after that, it was nice apart from the painfully hot weather. I don't stutter around adrien as much as I used to, I guess I'm so familiar with his presence it no longer bothers me as much. yet again that doesn't stop me from being a blushing mess every time his skin brushes against my hand.
before we got onto the road leading to our cabin, my phone beeped signaling I had received a message.

jeremy meet me at the pier

i sighed.
he had made such a scene in the restaurant what could he possibly want now?
me okay but please don't do anything irrational
putting my phone back in my pocket I tapped adrien's shoulder lightly. "sorry I have to go... i'll be back soon don't worry about me."
he smiled kindly "can't make any promises now".
I gave him a last grin and jogged off do the direction of the pier. the air was hazy with warmth and I could feel it as much as ever. it was around 3pm by now yet I wasn't sure.
out of breath, I reached the pretty much abandoned pier; only jeremy was there - dark hair shining in the sunlight just like mine.
"hi, umm... i still have no idea why you asked me to come here" I said as he turned around.
next minute he grabbed my wrist and held onto it tightly. "jeremy let go that hurts-"
"to do something irrational" he said as he placed his lips onto mine.
