i looked up at adrien who looked down at me, a calm and comforting expression on his face. i moved away slightly drying my eyes with the back of my hands, seeing my makeup smudge slightly- realising how stupid I must look right now. such a mess, so awfully miserable.
"im sorry it's just - i must look like an idiot," i blurted "and your shirt." it had wet patches from my tears and darker ones from my makeup.
he smiled at me, taking one hand and running it through my hair. "you worry about others to much, i worry for you too you know." i smiled slightly. his fingers carded through my bangs gently, as he pushed it aside to take a closer look at my face. "come on, let's get you cleaned up now." said adrien taking my hand and leading me to the bathroom. he took a tissue and started wiping my eyes carefully looking me in the eyes.
"i have hands too, you know?" I said
"wait, you do? i didn't even realise" he exclaimed sarcastically, poking my cheeks.
i snatched the tissue out of his hand and smiled with satisfaction seeing his surprise.
"i am Independent" i proclaimed dramatically, raising my finger at him threateningly and making for the door.
just as I clicked the handle I was stopped dead in my tracks.
