chapter twelve

(H) the next morning I woke up from this amazing dream. But then realized it was a reality. Annie is really my girlfriend. I took a quick shower and got dressed into new sweatpants cause my lazy a** didn't wanna find jeans. Anyways, I went downstairs and saw Annie's phone on the table, but no annie. In fact nobody was around. Caleb was at work and carson was probably f'n some girl he met yesterday. The fousset from the bathroom was on so I figured she was using the bathroom. Her phone dinged and the message popped up on the screen. I tried not to be nosy until I saw johnny's name appear. "When you get your shower, you should send me a pic." I was disgusted. Annie walked out of the bathroom.

A: morning hayden. Did I hear a text?

H: um yea i wouldn't read that if I were you.

A: you read my text?

H: I didn't mean too,

A: sighs* it's fine, who was it?

H: johnny.

A: ugh. what did he want?

H: nothin much, just a picture of you in the shower. *scoffs* the pervert.

A: rolls her eyes* I'll block him later.

H: why not now?

A: because I'm making breakfast!

H: ohh no you're not!

A: I'm not gonna damage anything.

H: mhm sure.

(A) i laughed at my secret plan.

H: no, I'll make breakfast. You just stay away from the kitchen.

(A) i have him wrapped around my finger. In a good way though.

H: where's my hug?

A: laughs* go put a shirt on first.

H: but I'm hot!

A: in more ways than one too, but go put a shirt on.

H: smirks* fine dumblanc.

A: smiles*

(A) after breakfast ( I was not poisoned ) I decided to get dressed.
I ran out of my room practically running hayden over.

A: oww my stomach.

H: you okay annie?

A: yea I hit my stomach by accident.

H: ouch.

A: laughs*

H: how are the bruises?

A: nods* okay I guess.

(H) annie was just about to walk downstairs again when I stopped her.

H: hey annie, did you wanna play fortnite again. in *coughs* my *coughs* room.

A: laughs and smiles* no thankyou.  but if that's just an excuse to hang out in your room then I'd be fine with that.

H: just tv or something.

A: what's the something?

H: maybe a little nap.

A: you know me so well.

(H) annie and I go to my room and watch tv for a bit as I cuddled her.

(A) during our shows Hayden fell asleep. I debated on leaving but I wanted to hug him so I layed my head on his chest and burried my head under his blankets. His heartbeat making me calm and relaxed as his chest slowly moved up and down. I wrapped my arms around him which is surprising cause I have short arms. But soon I felt myself drifting off to peaceful sleep.

(C) i can home from work with starbucks in my hand. I sat everything down on the kitchen counter. Carson texted saying he'd be back in a few hours or so.

C: annie? Annie? Where you' at?
Hayden? Hayyyyydeeeen...

(C) i looked around the house, downstairs, bathrooms and Annie's room when I decided to knock on Hayden's door. Nobody answered so I quietly opened the door: I peaked in and saw them asleep on his bed. I hope they didn't do anything they'll regret. It didn't look like they did anything though, but her head was laying on him and she was hugging him. what the heck! It's only three in the afternoon! A nap? Seriously!? I gently walk over to them and tap Annie's shoulder until she wakes up.
Apparently she was startled because she jumped.

A: whispers* really caleb! Stalker much?

C: sorry anns. But It's too early to sleep, you won't be able to go to bed later if you sleep now.

A: I'm fine with that goodnight.
*lays her head back down*

C: come on annie..

A: shh your gonna wake him up.

C: oh poor baby, he can't go back to sleep without his baby.

A: blushes*

C: then you wake him up.

A: no!!

H: stretches*

(A) oh shoot i woke him up.

H: caleb? What the hell man.

C: rolls his eyes* it's three in the afternoon. Take a nap later and do something. Go out- anywhere! You too annie.

A: ugh fine.

H: annie, know your brother better. He's trying to get us out of the house to invite a girl over.

A: is that true Caleb? *smirks*

C: come on guys! I invited sydney over for a little while since I'm done work. Hayden can you drop annie off somewhere or go together just leaaavveee.

H: da*n caleb okay. Come on annie get dressed. We're going to get ice cream.  

A: smiles* runs out of the room*

(A) i go into my room and dress into a pair of ripped jeans and a black long sleeve crop top. I braid my bangs and clip them to the side and grab my phone and house keys. I go back to Hayden's room and knock but there was no answer. I slowly creek the door open and see him taking his shirt off but his stupid back was facing me. I accidentally tripped making the door slam open.

A: nervous smile* just about to knock of course!

H: sure you were. *softly winks*

A: you ready? My treat.

H: yes and no.

A: rolls her eyes* let's just go.

(H) annie and i walk to my car and get in as she changes the radio station as I start driving.

A: hayden, flippers is the other way?

H: that's because we're not getting ice cream cutie.

A: wha- whattt then where are we going?

H: guess.

A: um Starbucks?

H: hell no, so you can meet another weirdo!? We're going to the mall...
