chapter nine

(H) her hands splashed gently into the water as we were only a foot apart.
Her eyes turned nervous but calm.

H: well I think it's because, you like me.

A: and where would you get a silly idea like that?

H: smiles at her*

(C) just for the heck of it i decided to spy on the two of them. And I'm glad I did. I saw them standing close to each other, smiling. I couldn't hear what they were saying though sadly.

H: well first of all, you're not denying it.

A: looks down smiling*

H: lifts her head up* your not talking.

(C) just kiss her! Really dude! Kiss her already. Fingers crossed.

H: and second, you have that cute little look on your face because we're so close to each other.

A: Hayden, you just got out of a relationship. One that meant alot to you, I don't want you to feel pressured into anything. And yes, I do like you.

H: why would I feel pressured into anything, especially since I like you too.

A: smiles at him*

(C) i secretly turned the temperature up in the pool and it steamed creating a romantic effect.

(A) when I smiled at him, I noticed his face moving closer. I leaned in as his lips slowly pressed onto mine.

(H) I connected our lips as i placed my hand onto her waist. my other one rested under her chin.

(C) yes!! Yes! Finally! Yes! 

(A) it was the most romantic kiss I've ever had in my life. Johnny's was always rough and forceful. But when hayden kissed me, he was so gentle and passionate. We soon pulled away as we came to realization of what just happened. Our smiles widened.

(C) i left them in privacy cause I felt like a creep. Besides, he's not johnny. i can trust him with my sister.

H: did we just-

A: smiles* nods*

H: it was nice.

A: yea..

H: smirks* look who's relaxed.

A: don't tell me this was some sick plan to-

H: kisses her*

A: kisses him back* 

(H) we slowly pulled away from the kiss as I shook my head.

A: this is really happening.

H: smiles* yea, and I don't mind.

A: what now?

H: well first, we get out of the water before we get wrinkly.

A: laughs*

H: and then we can talk and see where it goes from here.

A: smiles* okay.

(H) I picked her up bridal style and helped her out of the pool, wrapping the towel around her. I dry myself off and we go get changed.

(C) i ran into annie on the way to my room.

C: hey sis, why's your face so red?

A: no reason.

C: lies* oh okay.

A: goes to her room*

(C) i waited in the hallway and "accidentally" bumped into hayden as he was leaving his room.

C: hey dude, how was the pool.

H: um yea it was great.

C: lies* oh, okay.

H: I have to talk to your sister.
*leaves*

(A) I waited downstairs in the couch as hayden came down and sat next to me.

A: nervous*

H: can I tell you something?

A: sure.

H: I've kinda liked you for a little longer than you think.

A: smiles* how much longer?

H: about five months.

A: really?

H: laughs* yea.

A: you sure didn't act like It.

H: neither did you!

A: smiles* looks down* I was just afraid to ruin our friendship or whatever you'd call the bickering.

H: I think it was all an act to hide the fact that we like each other.

A: nervous* and..now what?

H: we could either remain friends, or.. We could be boyfriend and girlfriend.
But your brother wouldn't like that.

C: yells* woohoo!!!!

A: looks around*

C: hides*

H: laughs* anyways, it's all up to you.

A: well than man up doofus and ask me out.

H: smiles* annie Leblanc, will you be my girlfriend?

A: nope. *sticks her tounge out*

H: nudges her*

A: laughs* I'd love to summerall

H: smiles at her* you're something else.

A: but now I'm your something else.

H: and now you'll feel like a princess, unlike how the "other one" treated you.

A: smiles* so what I'm hearing is, I can have more control over you.

H: on some things.

A: alright. let's test it out. Put the tv on, grab a blanket and hug me.

H: puts it on* grabs a fluffy blanket* wraps his arms around her*

A: take your shirt off. *smirks*

C: whistles*

H: nope. Some control annie. some control.

A: laughs*

(H) annie and I watch tv for a little while as I hugged her. -
