(C) i came home from work and got changed then felt the urge to play fortnite but hayden accidentally took my headset. I knocked on his door as it cracked open an inch.

H: hello? How can I help you?

C: confused* you took my headset, can I come in?

H: no.

C: why not?

H: cause I'm busy.

A: sneezes*

H: eyes widen*

C: smirks* what babe are you with now?

H: gags* oh, she's not a babe. She's a-
a- *scratches his head* an annie.

C: my annie? Why is she in there? Annie are you in there against your will!

A: yells* no!

C: okay!

H: um she.. *lies* peed her bed.

C: walks in*

A: lies* um yea.. Oops.

C: um... I'll have to take you to the doctor about that one.

A: oh gee thanks. *glares at hayden*

H: smirks* *gives her a thumbs up*

C: wait a second- are you two becoming friends?

H: laughs* hell no!

A: what he said.

H: hands him his headset* here, bye.

C: where's carson?

H: he's at the mall.

C: okay? *leaves*

A: I peed my bed. Really!?

H: that's all I could come up with.

A: and even that makes no sense.

H: neither do you but everyone seems to love you.

A: yea did you see how much johnny loved me a half am hour ago.

H: looks at her* sits on the bed*
Can I ask you something?

A: it depends. but go on..

H: why are you with him?

A: because he loves me.

H: but you just said he didn't love you.
A: why would you care? All you do is screw your girlfriend and play fortnite. why the sudden interest?

H: annie, he abused you. I'd be an a**hole if I didn't do anything.

A: eh. he only does it once in a while,

H: mouth opens* he's done this before?

A: sorta but not this bad.

H: why don't you tell anyone?

A: I told you...

H: no, I found out. You never told me anything.

A: well look, he said if I told anyone he'd hurt me more.

H: where the hell did you meet this jerk?

A: Starbucks..

H: rolls his eyes*

*three hours later*

(A) a few hours ago I felt better and helped me back to my room, I couldn't walk before because it felt like I got the wind kicked out of me. anyways, hayden and I just told carson and caleb that I didn't feel well and that's why im staying in bed all day. But in all reality, I'm to sore to move.

(H) I still don't like the fact that johnny has been abusing annie for weeks and she still doesn't want to tell anybody. But she made me promise I wouldn't tell anyone. On the plus side, I kinda think this whole scenario/incident has brought us closer. We haven't said one mean thing to each other on over an hour. My thoughts got interrupted when carson bolted in my room.

Ca: hayden, Katie's here to see you.

H: oh I forgot, I was so busy taking care of annie. Can you send her up?

Ca: yea sure why not.

(H) minutes later katie walks in my room.

H: hey. I'm so sorry about our date last night.

K: it's fine, I get it. So I came to talk,

H: is everything okay?

K: well, it's just. With you moving and all- I feel like we won't be able to spend much time together.

H: I'm only ten minutes from your place

(H) she sat on my bed and I wrapped my arms around her. She looked kinda upset.

K: I don't think this is working out..

H: what, *looks at her* why?

K: with it being summer, and-

H: babe get to the point.

K: I met someone.

H: y-you met someone? Who? When?

K: his name is johnny, i met him at starbucks about a month ago.

H: don't go out with him, it's not safe-
Look you can break up with me, just promise to stay away from him.

K: I get that your jealous but I really like him, And I'm sorry. In fact I'm going to his place in twenty minutes.

H: don't go.

K: I'm sorry, but you'll find someone else. *leaves*

H: sighs* burries his head in a pillow*

*the next day*

(A) i was no longer feeble thank the lord. So caleb and I decided to make some eggs and french toast. Carson and I sat down across from caleb who had an empty chair beside him.

Ca: where's hayden?

A: rolls her eyes* who cares?

C: annie, you have to learn to be nice to hayden.

A: no I don't.

(A) speaking of the devil on legs, hayden came downstairs looking terrified and confused. He looked frantic.

Ca: yo dude what's wrong did you see a ghost?

H: um- umm katie is- p-pregnant.

A: eyes widen* what kind of a playdate did you guys have last night.

H: that's exactly what I wanted to talk to you about annie, in private.

A: I don't need to here the horid details, I'm eating thank you.

C: laughs*

Ca: what's there to know, you two had sex.

H: annie, please. This is important.

A: confused* gets up* okay okay fine.

(A) hayden brings me into the laundry room and puts his hand on my shoulder.

H: katie is pregnant.

A: um earth to doofus, we established that.

H: looks down* not by me...

A: yells* she cheated on you!?

H: covers her mouth* shh! And no, she broke up with me prior to that.

A: oh, I would say I'm sorry but I saw it coming.

H: annie, she was raped.

A: eyes widen* oh my god.. what ahole would do such a thing!

H: j-johnny.

A: scared* my johnny. please tell me another johnny.

H: shakes his head*

A: oh god..
