When opposites attract

chapter seven

(C) when I walked In I saw Hayden's left hand over Annie's on top of the remote controller. I could see his right arm beside her waist. They instantly paused the game and went downstairs for the food.

C: annie why are you walking so slow?

Ca: oh uh because she's tired.

H: yea so tired, she needs to get used to the fortnite routine.

C: okay?

(Ca) we all went downstairs and sat at the table, I went to go sit down across from annie but hayden stepped in front. I feel like im in a school cafeteria. He sat down as caleb looked at me weird. I sat down next to hayden across from caleb slicing some pizza from the box.

A: laughs* I didn't know the game was so much fun. It's really addicting to.

H: I told you you'd like it, you're pretty good at it too.

A: only because you helped me.

H: smiles* yea but with a little more practice I think you'd be able to compete against me.

A: really?

H: yea..

(A) i went to get the last slice of pizza but hayden went to grab the same one.

(C) oh this has to start a fight! It just has to!

H: split it?

A: sure.

C: looks at carson weird*
Ca: looks at caleb weird*

(C) after dinner carson and annie cleaned up as hayden and I played a game or two. then hayden went downstairs and carson came up to my room.

(A) i went downstairs after watching netflix to get some ice cream in the freezer. This new house is pretty cool, it even has a small indoor pool! 
I opened the container of mint chocolate chip and it was practically empty. Hayden came downstairs for a glass of orange crush.

H: what's the matter?

A: my iccccee cweeem is empty.
I'll put it on the list.

H: how about you and I take a little trip to flippers.

A: is that an actual place?

H: it's an ice cream place. Ya know, sundaes, yogurt, water ice.

A: sure.

H: I'll grab my jacket.

A: hayden we live in California.

H: your right. *takes his shirt off*

A: rolls her eyes*

H: cowabunga ma dudes.

A: laughs* put your shirt back on!

H: that's what she didn't say.

A: oh whatever.

(H) when we got to flippers we ordered mint chocolate chip sundae to split since it was a large. She started telling me these corny jokes when this guy came up to us.

?: hey cutie, what's your name?

A: um.. annie.

H: scoffs*

?: you new around here.

A: I mean I've been here before.

?: I'm austin. Here's my number.

A: blushes* *giggles* thanks.

?: leaves*

H: what was that all about? *mocks her giggle*

A: rips his number* throws it in the trash* It's called an act. I am so done with boys.

H: laughs* okay..

(A) we finish our sundae and throw the cup away and get back in the car.
Before he starts it up I thank him.

A: that was fun, thankyou.

H: no problem, I had fun to..

A: smiles at him*

H: smiles at her* *starts up the car*

(H) when we get back home and walk in, caleb and carson were in the living room on their phones. 

C: where were you two at?

H: I just took us out for ice cream.

C: that's cool.

A: I'll be in my room bubba.

C: k. anns.

(A) it was around nightime now as I layed in my bed and tried to go to sleep. But I couldn't stop thinking about the hectic day I had with johnny. My pants were unbuttoned. He was about to forcefully take my innocence. I tried to clear my mind with happy thoughts when I started to think about the day I had with hayden. I shut my lights out and got comfortable all over again. He really is something else. Kind of a jerk sometimes but hey, everyone has there own time of the month. But In the past couple days I've learned that he has a nice side to him. A good side.
I fell asleep after a few hours of struggling.

(H) it was now three in the morning and I couldn't sleep. mainly because carson, caleb, and i were playing fortnite still.

H: did you guys know annie was actually a nice person?

C: sarcastic* well gee, I wonder who told you that four years ago.

H: I just saw a different side of her is all.

Ca: seems like you two are getting closer.

H: I just need to focus on other things right now. And besides, she's probably busy with all that johnny drama.

C: what johnny drama? are they okay?
Ca: hits hayden* way to go dude.

H: um yea, their fine.

Ca: anyways, when I was at the mall the other day I met this really cute chick. her name is Sydney. But she's not really my type. She's Caleb's type actually.

C: dude I don't wanna be set up on some stupid date.

Ca: that's a shame, I invited her over for dinner tomorrow.

C: you what!?

H: laughs*

C: what, why, when?

Ca: trust me on this, she's hot and she's up for anything.

C: anything?

H: smirks* anything? If caleb doesn't want her-

C: I'll give it a shot. But if anything goes wrong I'm blaming you.

Ca: deal. But nothing will go wrong.

H: let's get to bed guys, it's getting late.
Ca: oh fine. you're right.

(H) when they both got out of my room I soon crashed on my chair, too lazy to go to my bed.
