chapter fourteen

(A) i laughed at what hayden said when he started to smirk at me.

H: in my defense sometimes I like the attitude. It's pretty funny when you're pissed. Especially when I'm the reason why.

A: rolls her eyes playfully* well I'm gonna go help caleb make the sides for dinner.

H: he is going to be watching you, right?

A: yes hayden. I'm not a bad cook.

H: smirks* okayyyyy.

(A) i go downstairs and help caleb make some mashed potatoes and corn. Carson came back from the mall or whatever and decided to take over my job.

Ca: no it's fine, I'll make the mashed potatoes.

A: okay.. Thanks carson.

Ca: hey... nice necklace.

A: smiles* thanks.

C: takes the pot off* hayden got it for her. *smirks at annie*

Ca: well I didn't, and you certainly didn't. So who else.

A: I just wish I could pay him back somehow.

C: speaking of hayden, he asked if you wanted to talk before dinner.

A: confused* okay?

(H) annie knocked on my door and she sat on my bed as I sat facing her.

A: caleb said you wanted to talk?
Is it bad? Everything okay?

H: yea everything's fine. It's just-

(A) there was a knock on the front door and caleb yelled asking me to get it. I told hayden I'd be right back and ran downstairs, seeing the jerk through the window standing there with flowers. With me rolling my eyes at the thought. I opened the door carefully hoping he wouldn't attack me.

A: what are you doing here? You're not welcome.

Jo: annie I'm really sorry for everything. I want there to be an us again. *gives her the flowers* please give me another chance.

A: what did one of your side chicks ditch you again? Johnny there was never an us, there was a you. I never had any say in anything. I don't want to talk to you ever again. *tries to shut the door*

Jo: annie, kenzie drugged me. I didn't mean to have sex with her.

A: yea, and what about katie? Because of you her whole life is ruined.

Jo: she was a rebound cause I was upset julianna.

A: you have no right to call me that or even speak to me at this point. Now all three of the boys are here so unless you wanna have a little "discussion" with them it'd be best you'd leave.

Jo: I just need to talk to you. I wanna fix this. 

A: there's nothing to fix john. You hurt me. You can't make those memories go away. So just leave.

Jo: no.

A: what?

Jo: I said- no!

(A) caleb and carson yelled from the kitchen asking if I was okay. I said yes and I guess they went back to cooking. Looking back at johnny i could tell he was getting mad. Before he raises his fist to me I shove him to the wall.

A: don't even think about it douche.

Jo: let me talk!

A: you got ten seconds.

Jo: I really miss you, I wanna make our relationship work. Just please take me back.

A: I don't miss you. There is no relationship. And hell to the no I'm not taking you back. Have a nice life.
Leave.

Jo: not until you apologize.

A: *goes into the kitchen*

(A) caleb and carson were cooking when I pulled Carson aside.

Ca: what's the matter?

A: johnny's here, and he won't leave until I take him back.

Ca: go upstairs with Hayden, I'll take care of it.

A: no I need to say a few things first.

(Ca) I go into the foyer spotting johnny as I gag. Even with me there he grabs her shirt and gets up in her face.

Jo: I suggest you leave so you don't see me hurt him.

Ca: scoffs* annie just go upstairs. I'll be back In two and a half minutes.
*brings johnny outside*

A: why can't he just leave me the hell alone.. *goes upstairs*

(H) annie walked In my room while I was getting changed, she looked worried and scared.

A: covers her eyes* oh sorry.

H: annie it's okay, what's the matter?

(A) i walked Into Hayden's room, he was getting changed just in his boxers so I closed my eyes. He put pants on and held my hand.

H: what's up?

A: johnny's outside with carson.
I'm worried someone will get hurt.

H: did you want me to go?

A: no, can you just stay here.

H: if that's what you want..

A: sighs* why can't he just let me move on.

H: because you're amazing. Only he doesn't know that.

A: smiles* thank you.

H: smiles*

A: go put a shirt on.

H: some things you can control annie.

A: laughs* well I'm not going near you until you put a shirt on.

H: shrugs shoulders* Okay.

(A) he stared off into space whistling as I laughed.

A: hugs him*

H: did he hurt you?

A: no I'm fine.

(H) she started rubbing my back as I smirked.

H: hugs her*

(A) i rubbed his back feeling his muscles causing me to smile. I felt safe in his arms when carson gave the safe knock and left. I'm so glad he's okay. I'll thank him later. Hayden tightened his grip around me making me stuck.

A: burries her head in his neck*

H: laughs softly* go to sleep why don't ya.

A: I would but food is ready soon.

H: smiles* of course.

A: well your grip is pretty tight. So how am I supposed to move?

H: that's the point leblanc.

A: smiles* you would be a good pillow at night time ya know.

H: yea Caleb isn't gonna think so.

A: We can ask if we can have a sleepover.

H: he'll love that idea! Not.

Ca: yells* dinner!!

(A) we run downstairs and I hug carson as Hayden fixes a plate.

H: smiles at them*

A: whispers* you okay?

Ca: of course. *kisses her forehead*
I made the mashed potatoes so be jelly.

A: I hate you.

Ca: love you too.

C: let's eat!

(H) mid-way through dinner annie spoke up.

A: can I sleep in Hayden's room tonight?

C: chokes* - no.
