DANIEL focused on Caleb, who had rippling muscles and slung an arm over his girlfriend, Holly Hammond. Her blonde hair was up and out the way, wearing pink jeans. He smiled at the both of them as he walked beside them. "I can't believe we're going to be late for English." She muttered. "All the good seats will end up being taken." The three of them belonged to a pack on the East side of town. The south, west and North all dubbed this school common ground. Any pack could be here. It was in none of their territory. They all lived outside of town.
Daniel shrugged, tossing his homework into the bin. Caleb smacked his hand on his friends back, hard. "How come you don't have a girlfriend yet Dan?" He pestered, Caleb didn't care of believe that much in mates. He wanted to chose not just one girl - but all girls. Something he and his friend definitely did not have in common.
"You know I stopped going out since that psyco chick tried to burn my house down." He rolled his eyes, that was almost a year ago. That put a damper on trusting women.
"So? People will start thinking you're a nerd or something - Sammantha started spreading rumours that you're a virgin." Holly told him, putting her hand in her pocket. Daniel really wished his friend dumped her. He and Holly had made out when he was drunk even though she was with Caleb. She hadn't been drinking. He didn't have any feelings for her. And was disgusted of her behavior.
Caleb and Holly were practically made for each other. Because Caleb knew his girlfriend made out with his friend. But he did nothing.
"I don't care - bye Caleb. Holly and I have class this way." Daniel walked off without saying goodbye, hearing Holly and Caleb kiss before she chased after him. They walked in silence - walking into the English room to see Ms Greene glaring at them.
"Glad you two could make it." She muttered darkly. As soon as Daniel stepped further into the room, he stared at the seats. "Caden - move to the front. Now." Caden chucked a tantrum as he sat in the front seat. The only available seat was beside him - or now beside Abagail.
His eyes focused on Abagail - watching her dark eyes glisten over everyone. He could smell her. Fresh apples and paper, roses mingling in with her scent.
Mate. Mate. Mate.
It was her - the presence he had felt this morning was real. She was real. Abagail. The very girl he had been talking about - she was his mate.
"Pick a seat." Ms Greene muttered, turning to the board and writing things down. Holly went to walk over to Abagail, but Daniel pushed her towards Caden.
"Daniel." She hissed - obviously wanting to start a fight with the girl. But Daniel ignore her and made his way over to Abagail Grey.
