Author's Note:
After many, many, many comments about how this book will be handled, I've decided to publish the last two drafts written by me years back when I was still able to work on this book.
I wouldn't be able to finish this book, but whoever's up for it is free to have their own go! You can add to the already published chapters, write a new book inspired or based on this one, or even completely rewrite this book! All I ask is to add a link to the original, or maybe even send me a link so I could put it somewhere here for others to find if they're interested.
I've found that a lot of people seemed to really enjoy this, and I'm really regretful that I'm not able to finish it for you. I hope you still enjoy these two extra chapters!

'No...'
"Sasu-chan?" Naruto whispered. "Why would you do that...? I wouldn't have died... But you..."
Sasuke smiled at the blond, "I wanted to protect you, I don't want to see you hurt..."
Naruto's eyes softened, "Sasuke..."
"Take care... Alright...?" with that the raven went limp.
The jinchuriki stared at him for a minute.
His head fell as he silently cried.
He stood up and faced Haku.
Soon enough, a demonic aura surrounded him.
"I'm going to kill you."
He had lunged at the hunter-nin who could only dodge at best.
"He's the only family I have left!!! And you killed him!!!"
Haku had sweat running down his neck and forehead when he glanced sideways.
And just like that he died with a chidori through his chest.

Naruto had slumped to the ground after the fight, and crawled towards the raven.
He choked on a sob, "I'm so sorry... Please don't do this to me... Please let me be selfish just this once..."
"...why... are you... apologizing...?" a raspy and tired voice answered.
He looked up with a gasp, tears running down his wide eyes.
Sasuke smiled and reached up to stroke the blond's whiskered-cheeks.
"I'm sorry for not protecting you... I'm sorry you got hurt... I'm sorry for the village and the clan..." and the blond fell into a crying session.
I'm sorry for the village? The clan? What was Naru even talking about?
But although he was confused, he wrapped his arms around the wailing blond and comforted him.
The rest of the team could only watch with saddened eyes.
