I woke up, my head was banging. Last night was a blur but I remembered most of it. The dancing, the drinks, Luke.
I looked at the clock and groaned at the idea of school. I didn't want to go, but I had to. Time to start the first day of my new lifestyle. I wasn't going to be the push over. I had enough education to last a thousand exams. I didn't need to keep going over everything I already knew. And judging by Lukes reputation, he liked bad girls anyway. I stepped out of bed and made my way to the bathroom. I locked the door and looked around, it was surprisingly clean. I looked at the spot where me and Luke shared our moment and shivered. Everything coming back to me, being put in the friend zone, blushing when he noticed that I did everything for him, the smirk on his face when I went shy and stepped away. Everything. I shook the thoughts out of my head and turned on the shower. I stepped in and allowed the warm water to trickle down my body, I looked at the shower floor and closed my eyes. I needed to make Luke notice me as more than a friend. But I wanted to fuck with him first, show him im not vulnerable. I washed myself and my hair and climbed out of the shower, I wrapped a towel around my body and looked in the mirror. I blow dried my hair and curled it. When I had done I opened up my makeup bag and applied some makeup. Normally, I didn't wear makeup for school but im changing. From a fragile little girl to someone that doesn't like to be fucked with. Finally I brushed my teeth.
I looked in the mirror, satisfied. I plodded out of the bathroom back into my bedroom. I wasn't looking forward to going downstairs. The house is going to be trashed. I opened my wardrobe and sighed at my uniform. A long skirt, button to the top shirt and a cardigan wasn't going to do. I put together some uniform like clothes and slipped them on. I smiled realising that school would definitely allow me to wear them.
I slipped on my black low top converse and walked downstairs. I looked around, everything was neat. Not a single cup on the floor, piece f furniture out of place, sick on the carpets. I furrowed my eyebrows and picked up my phone. I scrolled down to jai and smirked as the phone rang. "Uh, hello?" He answered. "Hey Jai" I chirped, whilst grabbing an apple from the fruit bowl. "Hey Hope, whats up?" "How are you getting to school?" I asked, I wanted to walk with him. Jai was part of my plan, he didn't know it but he was a secret part of it. "Beaus driving us, want us to pick you up?" He offered kindly, I smiled and replied immediately. "Yes please" "Okay, be ready in ten minutes, we will be there" he spoke softly. "Ok, thankyou Jai" I sang, happily.
Jai hung up and I got my school bag ready. I walked into the living room and looked around. Still no mess. "That's odd" I whispered as I heard a beep from outside, snapping me out of my thoughts. I walked to the front door and opened it slowly. Once I was out I locked the door an walked to the car, adding a little swing into my hips. I opened the back door and sat next to Jai.
"Good morning boys" I greeted them, all three of them staring at me, wide eyed. "Morning" they chorused after each other. I laughed and looked out of the window.
"I think someone tidied my house" I mumbled as we drove to school. "That was me, I accidently slept on your sofa and felt bad so I tidied up" Jai blushed. Hes so adorable. "Aww you didn't have to. You can come stay over anytime" I explained. He smiled and nodded his head before we reached the gates of school.
I stepped out of the car and all the eyes was on us. My heart was beating incredibly faster than usual as I flicked my hair out of my face. We walked into the school together, Jai stood by my left and Luke stood at my right. "We have French first" Luke whispered. I turned to look at him and he was smirking. I just rolled my eyes as we made our way to registration. "See you later Jai" We said, waving him off into his form room.
Me and Luke made our way to registration in silence. People walking past gave us a few odd glances and glares now and again but we shrugged them off. When we reached form we was already ten minutes late. "Ahh Luke Brooks, again" Our teacher sighed. "And who are you?" He rudely asked. "Hope Walker" I yawned, before walking to my desk. In front of Brooks. And sitting down. "Miss.Walker, you changed your appearance" Sir said, taking off his glasses. "Woah sir stop eyeing up my girlfriend please" Brooks shouted. Girlfriend? My cheeks burned red. "Are you two dating?" Someone shouted from the other side of the classroom. "No" I defended myself. Luke just laughed.
The teacher turned around and carried on reading his book. I swivelled on my chair so I was facing Brooks. "What are you playing at?" I said, hitting his arm. He just looked at me, confused. "Telling people your my boyfriend" I said, my pitch rising. "Its a joke, calm down" he chuckled. "I don't appreciate your jokes" I said folding my arms. He just leaned back on his chair and raised his eyebrows. "What are you doing?" I laughed, finding it hard to stay mad at him. "I think me and you would make a good couple" he smirked. The signature smirk, it impossible not to melt everytime he does it. I made a disgusted noise, jokingly. Making him laugh. The bell rang and I stood up. First day of new Hope is going good.
