My eyes squinted as I woke up and adjusted to the light. I yawned and stepped out of Jai's bed. He must of slept downstairs, I glanced at the top bunk to see Luke asleep. I smiled and leaned over to awaken him.
"Wake up" I said, shaking him gently. He stirred and I stood back, smirking. "Luke, I have to go to mine to get ready for school" I explained.
"Ill be at yours in two hours to take you to school" He said, yawning. "Okay see you then" I smiled gratefully before leaving the house.

I rushed home. I didn't want anyone to see me, I was in yesterdays clothes and I needed a shower. I picked up my pace as I came to my street. Running up to the door and opening it to be greeted by my mom. "Hope, I have to go to work" She sighed, slipping on her shoes. "That isn't your work uniform?" I questioned her, looking down at her elegant dress. "Ill see you later, have a good day and stay safe" she said, ignoring my comment and leaving the house. She is hiding something from me and i'll find out what. I groaned, pushing the thought to the back of my mind and running upstairs. I went straight to the bathroom and jumped in the shower, I let the water trickle down my body as I thought. Thought about how much my life had changed, how much I had opened up, all due to one teenage crush.
I washed and stepped out. I blow dried my hair and left its natural curls in it. I applied my usual makeup. After brushing my teeth i walked into my bedroom.
I got changed into a simple uniform with a blue blazer and slipped on my light blue vans. I looked in the mirror and smiled at my appearance.
I heard a light knock on my door and I rushed down stairs to let Luke in. "Hey" I breathed as he smiled at me from the other side of the door. "Hope, I have to ask you something" he said, looking down. He was blushing which was something I hadn't seen before in Luke. "Well, we have been spending a lot of time together recently and I wondered if maybe you would.." I looked at him to carry on but was interrupted by Jai.
Don't get me wrong, I love Jai. But this was a shit time to come, Luke was trying to tell me something. "Luke carry on" I said, ignoring Jai's presence for a second. "No, it doesnt matter" he sighed, turning aroud.
"Jai, meet us in the car" i smiled, nodding my head towards my car, passing Jai the keys. He gladly took them and walked away. I grabbed Lukes arm and pulled him into the house, closing the door behind us. "What?" he said simply, stood with his hands in his pockets.
"What was you going to ask me?" I whispered, looking him in the eyes. "Will you consider being my girlfriend?" he asked, looking down at me smiling. My heart started to pound and i couldn't stop the smile forming on my lips as i replied "No"
"What do you mean no? I thought you like me too?" Luke trailed on. "No, i wont consider because the answer is yes" i stopped him from rambling on. He smiled and picked me up, spinning my around. I laughed and hit him, telling him to let go. He did as i asked and when he did i kissed him. It felt more perfect than ever before, it felt more real.
