I walked into the Brooks household confidently. I wanted to show the boys that I didn't need them to just feel sorry for me. I don't need it.

I heard Jai and Beau shouting about something in the living room so I walked in.

"Oh hey" Beau waved at me. "Hiya Beau" I replied. Sitting down on the sofa.

"Hey" Jai smiled. It hurt to not reply. I don't have many friends and im blocking him out. But its all part of my plan.

"Hope, why are you here at 11pm?" Jai laughed. I looked at him in confusion... why am I here? He sent Luke to get me.

"You wanted to babysit me because you felt bad that I had no friends" I snapped. "No, I didn't." Jai defended himself.

Just at that moment Luke walked in. "I thought Jai sent you to pick me up?"

"No, I was just saying that to mess with you" Luke, Jai and Beau laughed. I didn't see what was funny.

"Why would you want to mess with me?" I asked, calmly.

"Because you clearly don't like me and you get wound up and angry so easily" he said, throwing his arms around.

"I never said I didn't like you" I muttered.

"I don't care anyway. Once this dumb project is over we never have to speak again" His words hurt. I have only been speaking to him for a day and he is always being nasty to me. I don't know what I do to deserve it.

"Why don't you like me anyway?" His words echoed through my mind.

"Because your so self centred. Everything has to be about you. You treat girls like toys and ever since we met you have done nothing but piss me off!" I breathed deeply after my rant as I needed to catch my breathe. I talk fast when im angry. Its like I need to get everything out and then I feel better, and I did.
I heard a female laughter coming from the hallway and I instantly turned to look.

"That was spot on, at least someone agrees with me" A lady with dark hair said as she sat next to me. "Im Gina by the way" She smiled. I was about to laugh too before Jai interrupted. "Shes our mum". I laughed even louder at how embarrassed Luke looked. "Boys, im still sleeping at nonnas tonight. Look after the house. " Gina smiled, standing up and after saying goodbye she left.

"Can I go to bed please?" I asked Luke, who was sat scrolling through his facebook feed. "You can sleep in my bed, ill sleep in mums" Jai smiled at me. "Thankyou Jai." I returned a smile, and stood up. "Ill show you the way, im tired anyway" Luke yawned.

"Goodnight" I called to the boys as I followed Luke up the stairs.
He led me to a small, neat bedroom.

"Jai sleeps on the bottom one" Luke said, pointing to Jais bunk. I Nodded and turned to him. "I have no pyjamas" was all I said and he laughed. He finds everything funny.

"Here wear this" he said, leaning into a draw and pulling out a tshirt. I took it from him and thanked him.

"Turn around" I commanded and he did. I quickly slid off my clothes and put on the top. It was big on me so it covered my bottom half. I stepped into bed and pulled the covers up, over my arms.

Luke walked over to the corner of the room, where he put his phone on charge and turned off the light. I saw him take off his shirt and I knew that I should look away, but I couldn't. Before I knew it he was in bed and so was I.
"Goodnight Luke" I called. "Good night Hope."
