I fluttered my eyes open slowly, i looked around and realized i was in Luke and Jai's room. I stretched and stepped out of bed. Luke wasn't in bed so i assumed he had gone to school.

I looked at the clock 10:15 AM. I wasn't planning on going school today, i was tired but surprisingly i didnt have a hangover.

I plodded down the staircase to the kitchen where Jai and Beau was sat. "Good morning" i chirped, happily.

"Morning Hope" They both chorused back. "Why aren't you at school?" I asked Jai, furrowing my eyebrows. "Its shut because the electricity went out, should be open tomorrow but they don't know yet" "So where is Luke?" I asked suspiciously, where would he be at this time in the morning?

"He um-" Beau started. "He went to-" Jai carried on. "Dont even bother lying to me, where is he?"

Jai and Beau looked at each other. "We don't know" Beau said. I could tell he was lying considering Jai gave him a death glance from the other side of the kitchen.

"Im going to get to my house so i can get cleaned up" I said, walking back out of the kitchen.

I made it to my house and after showering and throwing my hair into a high pony i got changed into my onesie and took some movies downstairs.

I'm just going to have a day at home. I made my way to the living room door and head my mum, talking to someone. I peered behind the heavy wooden door and saw her sat talking to someone on Skype. I would think it was something to do with work but she was laughing and joking around with whoever it was with her. "I'm leaving it a while before i tell Hope" My mum said. "Tell me what?" I asked, walking into the room. My mum quickly shut off her laptop and turned to face the door, where i was stood. "You shouldn't have heard that" Mum started, standing up. "Well i did, so i deserve to know what you are hiding from me" "You will find out soon, i promise" Mum said, patting my back gently. "Now, if you are watching movies, im going to go out to work. But I'll be back tonight" She said, kissing my cheek. She was wearing her work uniform so i would think that she was actually going to work this time.

"I want to know what your big secret is" I blurted out. I wasn't lying. I wanted to know exactly what was going on, the problem was... she would never tell me. "Hope, its nothing important" she called as she walked away. And with the slam of a front door, my mum was gone. And i was left, confused yet again.

I shook my head and picked up my phone. Now its time to work out the mystery of Luke.

"Hello?" His voice called through the phone.

"Hiya, where are you?" I asked, simply.

"Im out with some friends, where are you?" I relaxed instantly knowing that he wasn't with a girl and wasn't in danger.

"Im at my house, my mum just left to go to work" I explained, taking a seat on the couch.

"I'll come round if you want?"

I smiled, of course i wanted him to come round.

"Yes please" i replied. "Give me 10 minutes and ill be there."

I put in the first movie, Mean girls, then walked into the kitchen and grabbed a bowl of popcorn and some drinks.

I went back into the room and placed the objects down on the table just as the door bell rang. "Right on time" I whispered to myself as i rushed to the front door and opened it, to see a smiling Luke Brooks carrying Pizza boxes. "Hope you're hungry" He laughed, walking straight to the lounge. "Mean girls" was all i said, as i sat down on the sofa. "Sounds great" He said, sitting next to me. I pressed play on the movie and wrapped my arms tightly around Luke. I felt him slowly kiss the top of my head and i smiled, i could stay like this forever.
