With skin white and pale as moonbeams
I surrender myself to you
As silver wings spread like an eagle
A sanctuary of serenity settles my soul
Eyes dark pools of ebony
My bones then began to melt
Lit golden by the fires of Heaven
The mind blanks and I begin to forget
Within this firestorm I am a Phoenix
Through you I shall be Reborn

The Art of Abstraction
PoetryAbstraction is defined as the quality of dealing with ideas rather then events. This anthology of poems is my way of confronting ideas like love, depression, anger, and nostalgia.
