"Jade!" She let out a small growl.... why is it that she always tries to get me in trouble. Her and her stupid wolf territorial.
I wouldn't think like that about me Jade! She teased inside me trying to push me to my breaking point.
Shut up! I snapped.
"Jade.... your father use to be one of our greatest fighters I wish I could say the same of his daughter," Josh our alpha of the group stated. I felt a whimper escape my chest, he let out a low growl as my brother came between him and I blocking Josh's path from me.
"Leave her alone Josh! Our sister was there when our father was struck down it happened right in front of her, don't forget who was with father when he died, don't forget about that!" Dave snapped, Yep that's right Josh our alpha is my brother along with Dave and before Josh our father was Alpha and before our father it was his father and so on.
"Yeah Josh give her a break father died not more that 20 hours ago!" Lilly growled as she closed the gap between Josh and Dave. I let out a warning growl to the three of them which caused them to look at me now.
"I will do as Josh wants he is Alpha after all."
Even though it should be us who's alpha but no you didn't want to fight Josh for the title! She snapped at me making her way to the surface.
Don't even think about it! I snapped making her back down
"Ugh... just remember that I'm still on our side... I just need to be equal to everyone in our pack," Josh sighed as he touched my shoulder. I bowed my head in agreement and understanding. And with that Josh left the training room.
I looked at Lilly and Dave who were still staring at me. "What?" I said a little annoyed knowing what was going to come out of her mouth, Lilly shook her head as she took my hand in hers slowly followed by Dave. "It's just that your supposed to be Alpha, and what's worse is that you let him get the title." I sighed as I let a grumble come from my chest.
"He was second in line.... besides just because Josh and I are twins doesn't mean that I want to fight him for leadership, besides it's not common for there to be a girl alpha." Lilly scoffed and turned her gaze towards the door and back to me. "But you are an Alpha smart ass... you could even smell it on you more than you can on in any of us, you were meant to rule, you are the Alpha dad wanted to lead the pack, but yet you let Josh get it. why?" She growled her wolf getting the better of her, I let out a warning growl which felt like it shook the whole room, which caused her to whimper and back down her eyes searching mine for forgiveness.
I sighed and nodded as she brought her face back up. I gave her hand a tight squeeze to reassure her that we will continues our conversation later. She returned my squeeze with a small and light one, then her and Dave walked out of the room leaving me with my punching bag.
Ugh... Just claim the thrown so we could be Alpha where we rightfully belong! She teased with an annoying chuckle
Shut up! I mean it! I growled at my inner wolf who then snorted and I could feel her wanting to say something else but I blocked her out.
