Wake up do you smell that! She screams in my head like a warning siren
Ugh...go back to bed now! I grumble at her
She quickly jerks me up as I open my eyes I now know what she's smelling it's surroundings the air and suffocating me.
Blood!! get up Jade let's go!
I stand up and feel heat beneath my feet, a whine escapes my lips as I see my mother's lifeless body surrounded in blood on the floor of my bedroom... she has an envelope in her hand as I bend to grab it her hand twitches.
"Mom!!!" I whispered my wolf full of rage ready to rip the throat of who ever hurt her. A groan escaped her lips. I picked my moms head up and placed it in my lap as I sat down. She handed me the envelope. "Josh— Jo" she coughed which was followed with blood spilling from her mouth. I clenched onto her hand that had the envelope in it tears fighting their way through my eyes as they blurred my vision but I pulled them away.
"Josh what Mom?!" I said with a raspy voice she looked at me and a sad expression appeared on her face, "Josh led a group of— rouge wolves into the pack ground to lead an uprising... Josh is the leader of the rouge wolves.... you have to take the rest of the pack who's still loyal to our family and take them to your fathers old friend Drew Hansen... give him this envelope and he'll know what to do... and here this is for you from your father," she hands me another envelope and then smiles at me as she continues "stay pure to your fathers legacy Jade... my beautiful flower.... I love you. I'm so proud of you. Take care of the pack and your brother and sister. Beat— beat Josh!" She kissed my hand and with that her wolf let out one last howl, then she turned limp in my body.
Josh is dead! My wolf roared with anger inside me
Yes he is...but right now let's get the pack to safety. I replied to my wolf with a slight whimper.
