Nallah and I quickly ran through the thick trees and bushes trying to test the limits to our bond even though Nallah was smaller than my wolf she was fast and kept steady pace with me. As Nallah and I reached the river we came to a stop as we heard whimpering, I looked down and spotted a baby wolf with an injured one I then communicated through mind with the injured wolf.
Are you okay?

I looked at Nallah and gave her a tilt of my head as she stayed put so I could walk down to the injured wolf as I got closes the injured wolf turned to her human form she wasn't much older than me. She looked at me with surprise and then looked at the little pup as it switched to its human form. I let myself turn as well.
"Your an Alpha?". I looked and her and nodded my head, "my names Jade..." she smiled at me "I'm Natasha and this little four year old is Chad, my son." I looked at the four year old boy that I now knew as chad, he had Carmel colored skin, baby blue eyes, and black curly hair, with the cutest dimples. I smiled as I picked him up. "I could heal you... and then we could get you to your pack." "I don't have a pack anymore. They died last night during a hunting ambush there were rogues with them."
My wolf jumped to the surface with a snarl.
Josh!!! It was josh and his pack!!! Their getting close!
Natasha continued after taking a deep breath. "Its me and him his father my mate is over there he—he didn't make it he died two hours ago." She said through tears. I looked at the lifeless body of the male figure a couple feet away from where we were.
"I'm so sorry to hear that... but Natasha I could save you... I could heal you." Natasha looked at me to Chad who was still in my arms asleep and then to her dead mate tears filling her eyes as her gaze snapped back on me. "No you and I both know that living without your mate is Hell and you always hurt but you can do me a favor and take Chad with you. Let him live in your pack find him a family please?!" She begged me I sighed and nodded my head. "I'll take him and I will personally take him under my wing. He will be a brother to me and my pack I promise Natasha." She smiled as she kissed Chad and took her last breath. I let a tear fall from my eyes as I looked at Nallah. I set Chad by Nallah and went back to Natasha I picked her up and placed her by her dead mate as I howled.
I picked up chad in my arms as I walked with Nallah by my side. I was still naked but I didn't care this kid was a little survivor and I had to let Kyle know everything before Josh was here. I know why he's coming and I know who's coming with him.
Jackson! I'm dead! Or he's dead!
