My wolf clawed to the surface with blood rage... lets go save our mate and kill those ass wipes!
I snarled and growled in agreement.
I jumped and knocked the girl off of my mate as I went to tear her throat open, she placed her hand on both sides of me causing me to wince at the pain of wolfsbane, behind me my mate let out a deep and deadly growl, to warn the hunter that she better not hurt me. I went to slash her with my claws but she stabbed a silver arrow in my side causing me to whimper, I could feel my body try to shift.
Don't you dare not until we finish them! I snapped at my wolf
She lunges her teeth into the crook of the hunters neck and crunches down on the lung puncturing it as the girl lays limp in my mouth I let go and turn to the guy hovering over my mates body... I put my body over my mates as a protective stance, as I let out a deep shallow growl the man backs up only to stumble backwards I jump onto him and slash his head clean off with my claws blood splattering on my face. I looked around the camp sight no more hunters were here. I heard whimpering behind me as I turned to see my mate struggling to be set free while he tries to look behind him to see if I'm okay.
Go to him! She snapped and I let my feet take me to my injured mate.
I looked down at my mate and could see pain in his eyes. I switched back into my human form as he looked at me, I placed my hand on his blood covered fur as I wiped off the wolfs bane that was on his mussel as he whimpered, I quickly retreated my hands off of him, the stinging sensation in my hand subsiding. "I need you to switch so I could pull this out," I whispered to him he shakes his head as he changed into his human form.
I grabbed a sweat shirt off the hunters body and covered him in it. I grabbed a hold of the stake and looked at him for permission he looked at me, "You don't have to ask for my permission mate... just do it please," he hissed as he moved the stake wedged itself deeper, I turned the stake and pulled it out causing him to growl and whimper. I looked away as I felt the
stinging pain of the arrow still in my side, I forgot that I hadn't taken it out.
I could hear my mate struggle to get up as my wolf came back to my head.
I know your hurt Jade but you could heal our mate so he doesn't feel pain. She said with a smooth tone.
I completely forgot about my gift I'll do that now. I responded as it felt like she was giving me her strength to withstand the sharp pain in my side.
I looked at my mate who was still struggling to stand up. "Umm... just don't freak out okay?" He looked at me but then nodded his head, I took in a deep breath before releasing it and put my head to his arm as I licked the wound on his arm, it healed up quickly. He looked at me with surprise. But before he could say anything I winced in pain and fell to the ground clutching my side. My mate grabbed my face as he saw the arrow in my side. His face showed worry, I tried to smile but couldn't.
"Hey mate it's okay I'll get it out in a flash but I need you to look at me, okay?" I nodded my head as he smiled and took it out quickly. I winced in pain as I could feel my body trying to heal it self. I looked up at my mate as he stood on edge. My brother and sister rushed to my side. My mate let out a low warning growl at them as they put their hands up in a non threatening way. "It's okay their my brother and sister." He seemed to ease as he looked at them he ran his hands through his hair. "My apologies I just wanted to make sure my mate wasn't in danger." Lilly and Dave both looked at each other then at me. Lilly grabbed me by my sides as I whimpered... "oh...sorry... but sis you found your mate... I'm so happy for you." Dave gave me a kiss on my cheek as he went to check on the others and Lilly followed him.
I looked at my mate. "My name is Jade by the way." He smiled at me as he met my gaze, "I'm Kyle." His name caused me and my wolf to turn to mush. He put his hand on my injured side and sighed. "Thanks for saving me Jade." I smiled, "thank you for saving me Kyle." He seemed to tense as I said his name. "Are you okay?" He snapped out of his gaze and looked at me, "my wolf was getting the better of me," I scoffed "Yeah I know what you mean." He looked at me as his eyes blackened and then quickly looked away.
I felt well enough to sit up as I placed my hand on his face. I felt heat run across my cheeks as he looked at me.
Mark him Jade! She growled growing impatient
Hush! I hissed
"Jade what's she saying?" I looked at Kyle and then looked away. "To mark you as mine... but I can't." "Mine too." Kyle said as he pushed himself off the floor. I pushed myself off the floor and followed him to the others.
